연구 관심 분야

주 관심 분야는 학습동기이며, 학습 참여, 성취, 행복감 등 인지적 측면뿐 아니라 정서적 측면에 이르기까지 동기의 영향력과 중요성을 파악하는데 있다. 학습자들의 만족과 성취를 높이기 위해, 동기의 중요성을 파악하고, 학습동기를 강화시키는 개인적, 환경적 요소들을 밝혀내고자 한다. 특히 SDT 관점에서 학습자의 주도권을 높이고, 학교와 가족, 사회에 이르기까지 폭넓은 환경적 지지를 높이는 방안에 관심이 있다. 이러한 연구를 통하여 궁극적으로 학습자들이 스스로 즐겁게 학습하게 하는데 그 목적이 있다.
