• Indian multinational corporation that provides business consulting, information technology, software engineering and outsourcing services.
• Infosys had 950 clients across 50 countries.

• Infosys reported revenue growth of 4.5% sequentially, highest in the last quarter outperforming TCS with revenue growth of 3.5% both in domestic as well as international market.

• Born in a family with seven other siblings, it was hard for Mr. Murthy to pursue his dream and sacrifice prestigious IIT Kanpur to help out his father.
• His first company Softronics lasted year and a half.
• After 8 of Infosys, the company was about to die and many of the co-founders were about to quit. It was a big challenge for Murthy to make them stick to the company.
• Infosys started with no computer, no telephone line, bureaucratic hurdles and an environment that does not support entrepreneurship.
