Nariman Akhmetshin was born on the 28 th of August in 1950 in Biklan village of Tatarstan. His father, Ibragim Akhmetshin, participated in the Great Patriotic War. His mother, Vasima Akhmetshina, was a tailor.

MY GRANDFATHER IS A CHAMPIONNariman Akhmetshin started training at the age of 14. His uncle had been participating in Sabantuy wrestles. He was the exemplar for the future champion of national kinds. In 1976 Nariman Akhmetshin and his four countrymen won in the region competition on national kinds and became number one in Tatarstan. After that My grandfather got Master of Sports.

NEVER GIVE UPMy grandfather says, “NEVER GIVE UP. TO BE SUCCESSFUL, YOU SHOULD WORK HARD”. I love sport. Sport is a thing that help me to recover from difficult moments happening in my life.

I am proud of my grandfather. He loves sport. He loves his life. He is very successful and happy. And his children, his grandchildren loves him.
