Situatie
• Elimineren van een benoemde verspilling bijvoorbeeld uit de VSM of
• Het realiseren van verbeteridee uit dagstart
Kenmerk
• Praktische benadering, oplossing niet evident, expertise nodig van
procesbetrokkenen
• Event is klaar als oplossing geïmplementeerd is, dus besluitvorming binnen
kaizenevent
• Benodigde tijd ongeveer 40 uur

Dag collega's,
eerst en vooral nogmaals dikke merci voor jullie inbreng en steun i het voortraject alsook tijdens de story telling.
De leden van de directie zijn alvast unaniem positief en hebben een vette 'go' gegeven. Maw we kunnen er helemaal voor gaan.
Ik kan zelf aangeven (en Inge ka dit bevestigen) dat de directie onder de indruk waren van het geleverde werk en zeer blij waren met de 'pit crew' aanpak. Het feit
dat we dit als 'team' hebben aangepakt heeft hen enorm bekoord. Inge en ik zullen de 'go' en aanpak op 18 september toelichten naar de collega's Sr
Mgt. Daar zal de directie ook haar steun aan het project uitspreken en het belang hiervan onderlijnen.
De 'go' heeft natuurlijk ook gevolgen: we kunnen uit de startblokken. We hebben met z'n allen al enkele to do's en deadlines gedefinieerd tegen 24 september. Voor deze to do's hebben enkelen onder ons zich al als project owner
opgegeven. Wel, het is nu aan ons! In bijlage vinden jullie de geplande acties, timing en owners terug. Op 24 september volgt hierop al een eerste check. Dus let' go for it!
Ikzelf ben alvast super gemotiveerd en kijk ernaar uit om mee te werken aan dit succesverhaal!

Valkuilen
Minder succesvolle Kaizen’s worden gekenschetst door:
• Scope te groot gekozen waardoor doorlooptijd te lang wordt.
• Stappen worden niet goed afgemaakt wat het succes negatief beïnvloedt.
• Sleutelpersonen haken onderweg af door andere prioriteiten waardoor de Kaizen niet afgemaakt
kan worden.

Het team speelt in ronden van elk 2 minuten
Na elke ronde krijgt het team steeds een aantal minuten om te bepalen hoe te
verbeteren

Het team geeft zoveel mogelijk ballen door. Elke bal die het hele proces correct
doorloopt levert 1 punt op. Elke overtreding levert 1 strafpunt op. Correct =
voldaan aan deze 7 spelregels:
1. Teamgrootte staat vast tijdens het gehele spel
2. Elke speler moet elke bal aanraken
3. Bij overdracht van de bal moet er ‘air time’ zijn
4. Je mag de bal niet doorgeven aan je directe buurman links of rechts van je
5. Een gevallen bal mag je niet oprapen
6. Elke bal moet eindigen waar hij begon
7. Er is slechts 1 bal tegelijk onderhanden in het proces.
