NOTICE FOR DEPUTATION/ABSORPTION TO NIAAS SUB INSPECTOR AND INSPECTOR
Nominations are invited for the posts of Sub inspector and Inspector ondeputation / absorption basis in National investigation Agency (NIA). Details ofposts withlocation wise vacancies are as under:

2. The eligibility criteria (educational qualifications, experience, etc) andapplication form is available on NIA website w.w.niagov.in as Annexure-I & I ‘A’and Annexure-Il. The candidates who apply for the post will not be allowed towithdraw their candidature subsequently.
3. The nominations of eligible official alongwith following documents shouldreach to the AIGtAdm), NIAHQ,7thF1oo, NDCC-H Building, Jai Singh RoaNew Delhi-110001 through proper channel within 02 months from the date ofpublication of this item in ‘Employment News’.
(a) Bio-data in prescribed proforma as per Annexure-Il duly countersignedby the Competent Authority.
(b) Up to date APAR dossier from the year 2008-09 to 20 12-13 (in casephotocopies are being sent, it may be ensured that the same are attestedon each page with rubber stamp by an officer not below the rank ofUnder Secretary to the Government of India).
(c) Vigilance Clearance and integrity Certificate issued by the respectivedepartment.
(d) The details of major/minor penalties imposed on the official during thelast 10 years.
4. Applications received after the last date or application incomplete in anyrespect or those not accompanied by the documents/information as per in para 3above shall not be considered. The Cadre Authorities may ascertain that theparticulars sent by the official are correct as per the records.

EIigibi1ity Criteria for(a) The officers of the Central Government ordeputation/absorption State Government or Union Territories:toNIA
(i) Holding analogous posts onregular basis in the parent cadre ordepartment; or
(ii) With 5 years’ service in thegrade rendered after appointmentthereto on regular basis in posts in thePay Band-2 of Rs 9300-34800 withGrade Pay Rs 4200/- in the parentcadre or department; and
(b) Possessing the following educationalqualifications and experiences:
(i) Bachelor’s degree in anydiscipline from a recognizeduniversity; and
(i Two years’ experience in
handling of cases of investigation of
criminal cases, or intelligence work or
operations or Information
Technolo,T cases or Training in
counter terrorism.
Note 1:- The departmental officers in the
feeder category who are in the direct line of
promotion shall not be eligible for
consideration for appointment on deputation.
Similarly, deputationists shall not be eligible
for consideration for appointment by
promotion.
(Period of deputation, including period of
deputation in another ex-cadre post held
immediately preceding this appointment in the
same or some other organization or
department of the Central Government shall
ordinarily’ not to exceed 03 years. The
maximum age limit for appointment by
deputation shall be not exceeding 56 years as
on the closing date of receipt of application>
Note 2:- For the purpose of appointment on
deputation or absorption basis, the service
rendered on a regular basis by an officer prior
to 1st January 2006, the date from which the
revised pay structure based on the 6th Central
Pay Commission recommendation has been
extended) shall be deemed to be service
rendered in the corresponding grade pay or
pay scale extended based on the
recommendations of the said Pay’ Commission
except where there has been merger of more
than one pre-revised scale of pay into one
grade with a common grade pay or pay scale,
and where this benefit shall extend only for the
post for which that grade pay or pay scale is
the normal replacement grade without any
upgradaticn.
