Recharging our Nicols® 100%electric boat iseasy:• The Sixto® Green is equipped with Lithium-Ion batteries, allowing a quick recharge: just 2 hoursmay be enough to rechargeyour batteries!• Charging stationsare available throughout your journey, you’llfind one on average every 11km.•Your Sixto® Green boat is given priority: the chargingterminals are exclusively reserved for electric boats,accessible by a badge that is handed to you when picking upthe boat.•Simple to use, the terminals use a touch screen interface inmultiple languages (English, French and German).• Some of the charging terminals even offer water refills:you can fill up with water at the same time as charging thebatteries!•Atechnical assistance phone number is provided to help withany questions you may have about using the terminals VNF chargingterminalTerminal reserved exclusively for electric boats

Consumables package: in the same way aswith any Nicols® boat you are required to cover the cost of the boat consumableswhich is 30 0€ per week.

This includes: the gas consumed on board (heating, hotplates, oven etc), charging of the batteries during your cruise and any maintenance, plus a financialcontribution to VNFwho are the organisation responsible for the installation, operation and maintenance of the charging terminals.

Thisground-breaking, 100%electric powered boat project wasconducted byNicols ownboatyardand in collaboration with Voies Navigables de France (VNF).

GuillaumeDury, director at VNF tells us his point of view:"VNF seeks to develop tourism on rivers and canalswhile preservingthe tremendous natural heritage that these spaces represent.With this in mind, VNF is working with Nicols® to offer a new tourism offering that better meets the expectations of a clientele that is particularly sensitiveto the environment.After a joint study phase, which enabled Nicols® to design a suitable electric boat and VNF to offer an efficient charging system, we will be very pleased towelcome the first SIXTO®GREEN customers on our network in 2018 betweenWaltenheim on Zorn and Harskirchen.
