O!cer TrainingConcludes
The department officers
from the various churches of
the Field gathered at the
Sacramento Church on
Sunday, December 8 for their
training session. This follows
executive officer training, which
was conducted the previous
Sunday. The training of new
officers follows the guidelines
set down by the pen of
inspiration.
It has been proved in the
missionary field that, whatever
may be the preaching talent, if
the laboring part is neglected, if
the people are not taught how
to work, how to conduct
meetings, how to act their part
in missionary labor, how to
reach people successfully, the
work will be nearly a failure.
There is much to be done in
the Sabbath school work also
in bringing the people to
realize their obligation and to
act their part. God calls them
to work for Him, and the
ministers should guide theirefforts.Testimonies, vol. 5,
p. 256.
Sabbath school ministry, deacon ministry and deaconess ministry training
was conducted by David Zic. Medical ministry training was conducted by
Mariola Dumitru. Youth ministry training was conducted by David Devai. In
addition to training the representatives made field-wide ministry plans for
2104.

Sacramento Church conducted their reorganization on the evening of

The Week of Prayer will conclude this
Sunday, December 15. The theme this year
of Preparing a People has been a great
blessing in helping us see our special need
of revival. On Sabbath all who are able areasked to have a day of fasting and special
prayer. On Sunday at the final reading a
special offering will be collected which is
dedicated to the worldwide mission work.
