服務 與 退費 Volunteer & get reimbursed

•家長互助押金 $80. 只要您來幫忙一次，就可拿回這$20。

• As you might recall, you paid $80 at registration for a “Parent Co Op deposit.” When you volunteer, you will be reimbursed for this fee.

家長服務規則

• 服務一次退費$20禮卡，遲到10 分鐘即失去當天服務機會。所有退費從開學第三週開始。為了要讓每家都有機會服務，每個家庭最多服務四次。到下學期會再開放給任何家庭願意多服務。如果您家有小孩念下午班，請盡量填寫下午的服務空檔。學分班和AP班的家長，歡迎填寫學分班多上課的那兩周的空檔。

• You will be given a $20 gift card as a partial or complete refund for your $80 fee each time you complete your volunteer service. You can volunteer for additional jobs to earn even more gift cards, depending on the availability of jobs. Please be on time for your service. After 10 minutes, a replacement will be found. Please sign up for no more than 4 times per family. We will have more spots available Spring (2nd) semester. If you have kids registering in the afternoon class, please sign up for afternoon spots (we need even more help in the afternoon). For AP and credit classes, we have 2 weeks of extra lessons for you to sign up.

•班級代表 /Room Parent (1 year): help the teacher organize the class’ participation in the Chinese carnival, collecting money for the end-of-year teacher’s gift, other jobs depending on the class)

•各項學藝比賽 /Contest Assistant : help organize the various contests

held throughout the year, including: karaoke, writing, speech and poetry recitation (send out student announcement, track contest sign-ups and winners, etc.) (寫字，演講，卡拉OK，詩歌朗誦)

•攝影師4位/ 4 Photographers : photograph the students, PTA members and staff on the picture day, Nov. 12th, and make-up day, photograph the various events throughout the year (including: the speech and writing contests, the Halloween parade, the New Year carnival and the End of Year Ceremony on May 20th) .

• 班級照，教職員，理事照相，補拍 (上、下午) 11/12/16, 11/19/16

• 四個比賽上午 10/15, 1/14/17, 1/28/17, 2/11/17, 3/25/17 ( morning )

• 四個比賽下午 10/15, 1/14/17, 1/28/17, 2/11/17, 3/25/17 ( afternoon )

• 萬聖節遊行&寫字比賽頒獎 10/29/16, 園遊會 1/28/17，結業典禮 5/20/17

•學生商店 Student Store Assistant (1 year): prepare for the student store before each of the student store days (unpack and label supplies and setting up the store). This position does NOT include manning the store during store hours or selling supplies)

•點心組 /Food Service (1 semester): prepare and deliver food for judges

during the contests and for PTA members during meetings, pick up and deliver lunches for all-day teachers/staffs every Saturday at a nearby Chinese restaurant (you can drop off your child, pick up the money and then pick up and deliver the food each Saturday). 準備點心給比賽、家長會、和其他學校活動

•活動組 /Event Assistant (1 year): assist the event supervisor to setup for events (such as, PTA meetings, contests, fundraiser, seminars, New Year’s carnival, end-of-semester teacher lunches, End-of-year ceremony) 幫忙佈置場地，園遊會、結業典禮節目安排預演，接洽人

•禮卷組 / Scrips sales (1 year): sell gift cards 幫忙賣禮卡

• DJ x 3 : operate PA system during Karaoke night, New Year carnival, Karaoke contest , year end ceremony, and teacher appreciation dinner on the last day of school. We will train you.

•我們誠徵三位DJ: 在卡拉OK晚會、新年園遊會、卡拉OK歌唱比賽、結業典禮、謝師宴幫忙。會有專家訓練!

校園巡邏的工作項目:

✓上、下課搖鈴。

✓開、關學校大門。

✓貼上、收起辦公室指標。

✓巡邏校園 – 上課時間，如遇未戴名牌的家長，請他到辦公室登記。下課時間， 請注意學生安全，不要讓學生進入學校花圃。

✓倒垃圾 – 在最後一堂課結束前5分鐘，請倒乾淨您所巡邏區域各班教室的垃圾桶。

Yard duty work list:

✓Ring the bell.

✓Open/Close School gate.

✓Post the office signs.

✓Patrol the campus.

* When the classes are in session,

walk around the campus ground, if you see

someone without name tag, please ask

him/her to come to office to sign in.

* During recess, watch out for the

safety of students, and make sure no one

damage the school garden

✓Empty all the classroom trash cans in your

patrol area before the last bell rings.

9月28日是教師節，請家長提醒小朋友在下星期六 9/24上課時，帶一張卡片、一朵花、一張畫、或是一張小紙片上寫著感謝的話。。。送給您的老師。

Please remind your kids to bring a card, flower from your garden, a picture, drawing, or even a small thank you note to school on 9/24 to help your teacher celebrate the Teacher’s Day.
