OF UNSERVICEABLE PROPERTIES
January 20, 2012
The SUGAR REGULATORY ADMINISTRATION (SRA) will dispose unserviceable propertieslisted below through “three-rounds” public auction on an “as is, where is” basis on February
16, 2012, 9:00 a.m. at the SRA Training Center, Bacolod City. Interested parties are invited
to inspect these properties at the SRA-Bacolod Compound.

GENERAL GUIDELINES IN THE CONDUCT OF PUBLIC AUCTION
1. Interested parties are requested to secure copies of Bid Forms from the Property andProcurement Section of SRA–Bacolod.
2. Bids will be received and opened in the presence of the attending bidders or theirauthorized representatives at the SRA-Bacolod Training Center on February 16,
2012. Registration will start at 8:30 a.m.
3. Each bid will be accompanied by a proposal DEPOSIT IN CASH or CERTIFIEDCASHIER’S/MANAGER’S CHECK issued in Bacolod City, payable to SRA-BacolodOffice, in an amount equivalent to at least ten (10%) percent of the total bid price.
Failure to enclose/submit the required proposal deposit in the form and amountprescribed herein shall automatically disqualify the bid concerned.
4. The SRA shall conduct first, second and third round auction type of bidding to secure
maximum bids in favor of the government.
5. Public auction will be declared a failure if there is only one offeror and if all the
offers/tenders are non-complying or unacceptable.

6. After receipt of the Notice of Award, the winning bidder may claim and withdraw theproperty after the bid price is fully paid as evidenced by an official receipt and the
necessary Gate Pass has been duly approved.
7. Claims shall be made only during official government working hours.
8. Claims shall be made within the period stated in the Notice of Award. Failure on thepart of the awardee to claim the property within the stipulated period shall have the
effect of cancellation of the award/contract. The awardee shall then be charged
storage fees and other incidental fees/costs or damages. If the property remainsunclaimed over a prolonged period of time, ownership of the contracted/awarded
property shall automatically revert to the government.
9. Properties will be sold on an “AS IS WHERE IS” basis.
10. SRA reserves the right to reject any or all of the tenders.
