ACQUISITION OF LAND
The following declaration, made by the President of Malta in terms of article 3 of the Land Acquisition (Public Purposes) Ordinance (Chapter 88), is published in terms and for the purposes of article 9(1) of the said Ordinance.

DeCLArATION by The PresIDeNT Of MALTA
Whereas by declaration made by the Acting President of Malta dated 29th November, 1988, the undermentioned land was declared to be required by the competent authority for a public purpose in terms of the provisions of the Land Acquisition (Public Purposes) Ordinance (Chapter 88) and that the acquisition thereof should have been by absolute purchase.
Description of the Land
The following land at san Pawl il-baħar
A plot of land measuring about 813 square metres, bounded on the North by property of Manwel Gauci, on the West by property of George Gauci and on the east by property of unknown owners or more precise boundaries.
The abovementioned land is shown marked in red and indicated as plot number 15A on plan P.D. No. 152A_88_4, which may be viewed on demand at the Land Department, Auberge de baviere, Valletta.
Whereas by the present Declaration by the President of Malta is being published for the purposes of Act I of 2006.
The compensation offered for the abovemented plot of land is seven thousand, five hundred and thirty euro (€7,530), as on 1st January 2005, according to the valuation published with this declaration as made by of Architect Joseph h. spiteri A&Ce.

The abovementioned land is shown marked in red and indicated as plot number 15h on plan P.D. 152A_88_4, which may be viewed on demand at the Land Department, Auberge de baviere, Valletta.
Whereas by the present Declaration by the President of Malta is being published for the purposes of Act I of 2006.

forty-two thousand, nine hundred thirty-two (49,932) shares in the company Cleland & souchet Limited (C 24996), registered in the names of Jean Galea souchet, which shares have the nominal value each share of two point three nine three seven three euro (€2,329373), and are fully paid up, and this for the following reasons:
(1) That the applicants lent between them various amounts of money to the respondents.
(2) That in all the total amount given on loan to the respondents principally to pay their creditors is of one hundred and five thousand euro (€105,000), the sum of twenty-five thousand euro (€25,000) paid between the 14th June, 2014, and the 20th June, 2013, by and thus due to the applicant Carlos Calamatta to various creditors of the respondents.
Thus, the applicant humbly asks that this honourable Court orders the issuing of the Warrant of Prohibitory Injunction in question.
