Introduction of Engineering Die Wizard
Engineering Die Wizard provide workflow and automatic functions for transfer die design and
tandem die design.
Transfer Die:
It has a single upper die shoe and lower die shoe, in between there are different stations which have different
sub-dies, there is transfer equipment to transfer intermediate part from one station to downward station
automatically, or manually transfer intermediate part by hands.
The die is mounted into single press machine, because of press machine tonnage limit, normally the
sheet metal part produced could not be very big. Each designer can work on one station separately.

Tandem Die:
It normally has multiple stations, each station has individual die base, within one station there maybe different
stages which may have different sub-die, there is transfer equipment to transfer intermediate part from
one station to downward station automatically, or manually transfer intermediate part by hands.
The die in each station is mounted into single press machine, normally there are several press machines.
Tandem die usually produce large sheet metal part, like TV panel, dishwasher, wash machine, etc.
