Albert Castiglia “Big Dog”. Ruf 2016. Después de cinco discos publicados habiendo conseguido todos ellos el unánime reconocimiento de la prensa y del público, uno puede preguntarse si Albert Castiglia tiene todavía algo nuevo que aportar. La respuesta es bien clara y sencilla, si, si y si. Con este último álbum Albert ha conseguido plasmar todo lo que es y representa en el mundo de la música, tanto como persona a la vez que como músico, cantante, compositor y guitarrista. Para ello ha contado con la inestimable participación de Mike Zito a la producción, a la guitarra y la composición de un tema y Ruf Records con Tom Ruf al frente, como realizador y catalizador del proyecto. Grabado en los Dockside Studios de Louisiana, Albert Castiglia confirma y demuestra que es una fuerza devastadora de la naturaleza, dominando a la perfección todos los palos que un consumado maestro del blues contemporáneo es capaz de abordar. Castiglia da rienda suelta a su imaginación y nos presenta un disco incendiario y muy participativo, donde todos los músicos responden a su nuevo proyecto con entusiasmo y enorme vigor. MUY BUENO. After five published albums which have all received the unanimous recognition of media and people, one may wonder if Albert Castiglia has still something new to bring us. The answer is clear and simple, yes, yes and again yes. With this last album Albert has managed to communicate everything he represents in the music world, both as a person and as a musician, singer, composer and guitar player. For rounding up this album, he has counted with the valuable collaboration of Mike Zito in the whole production, guitar playing and one song writing, and Ruf Records with Tom Ruf as the project director. Recorded at Dockside Studios of Louisiana, Albert Castiglia confirms and shows he is an unleashed force of nature, with an incredible control of all the styles as well as an accomplished master of contemporary blues. Castiglia gives free rein to his imagination displaying a flaming highly participative album, where all the musicians involved add their full enthusiasm and enormous strength. GREAT.

Little Mike Markowitz & Troy Nahumko “Amigos In Spain”. Elrob 2016. El cantante, armonicista y pianista ocasional Little Mike es un enamorado de España y siempre que puede aprovecha para venir desde Florida a tocar a nuestro pais. Por su parte el guitarrista, compositor y cantante californiano Troy Nahumko lleva varios años residiendo en Cáceres. Ambos músicos habían tocado juntos en Estados Unidos hace ya muchos años formando parte del grupo Little Mike And The Tornadoes. Ahora se han reencontrado de nuevo en España y han decidido grabar en formato acústico doce canciones englobadas bajo el título de “Amigos In Spain”. Escuchando esta colección de viejos ‘down home blues’ que también podríamos denominar ‘back porch blues’, uno puede fácilmente imaginar a estos dos viejos amigos saboreando el feeling del blues entre cerveza y cerveza, risas y mas risas y, sobre todo, compartiendo entrañables recuerdos y vivencias. Si os gusta el blues acústico, auténtico, puro y sin concesiones a la galería, entonces, queridos amigos, este es un disco hecho a vuestra medida. MUY BUENO, Singer, harmonica player and occasional pianist Little Mike loves Spain and he likes to come from Florida to Spain to play in our country every time he is requested. On the other hand, Californian guitarist, composer and singer Troy Nahumko has been

living in Caceres from some years. Both musicians used to play together in United States quite a long time ago in the band Little Mike And The Tornadoes. Now they have met again in Spain where they decided to record twelve songs in acoustic format, gathered under the title of "Friends in Spain". Listening to this collection of old down home blues, which could also be called back porch blues songs, one can easily imagine these two old friends enjoying the feeling of blues while drinking beer and beer, laughing and, over all, remembering old stories and sharing memories and musical experiences. If you like acoustic, genuine and pure blues with no commercial concessions, then, dear friends, this is a recording especially devoted to you. VERY GOOD.

Big Jon Atkinson & Bob Corritore “House Party At Big Jon’s”. Delta Groove 2016. Blues del bueno, blues auténtico, blues del mejor. Así de categórico y enérgico me muestro ante este disco de blues clásico con el sonido vintage de los años cincuenta. a lo que se añade una producción del siglo XXI. Cuando nadie lo conocía Jon Atkinson era un aficionado del mundo digital. A ello se unía una extraordinaria pasión por el blues más genuino. Atkinson empezó pronto a tocar con algunos de los jóvenes maestros del blues actual. Sin embargo fue Kim Wilson quien descubrió su potencial e inmediatamente le llamó para tocar en su banda, The Blues All-Stars, lo que según Wilson fue un absoluto acierto haberle dado esa oportunidad. En el 2015 Bob Corritore fue a grabar al estudio de Big Jon en San Diego, California. De inmediato surgió entre ellos una gran química y fruto de ella es este disco que incluye dieciséis imponentes blues en los que la poderosa guitarra y voz de Big Jon y la excelente armónica de Bob Corritore brillan a gran altura, secundados admirablemente por unos grandes músicos y amigos entre los que cabe destacar a Willie Buck, Alabama Mike, Dave Riley o Tomcat Courtney. Como dice Kim Wilson, Big Jon representa el nuevo y mejor futuro del blues, y la verdad es que tiene toda la razón. BUENISIMO. The most genuine and good blues you can imagine. This is my categorical statement facing this album of classic energetic blues with a fifties vintage sound and a 21st century final production. When nobody cared about the digital cyber world, Jon Atkinson was already an expert. But he also felt an incredible passion for the real blues. Soon Atkinson started to play with some of the young generation of blues musicians. However, it was Kim Wilson who discovered his potential and immediately called him to play in his band, The Blues All-Stars, which according to Wilson’s words, was the right decision to give him that opportunity. In 2015 Bob Corritore travelled to record at Big Jon’s studio in San Diego, California. Immediately good vibes arose between them and the result is this album that includes sixteen impressive blues where the powerful Big Jon’s guitar and voice and the excellent Bob Corritore’s harmonica playing shine at a very high level, perfectly supported by some musicians and friends like Willie Buck, Alabama Mike, Dave Riley or Tomcat Courtney. As Kim Wilson says, Big Jon represents the new and best future of blues and the true thing is he is completely right. ESSENTIAL.

John Long “Stand Your Ground”. Delta Groove 2016. John Long nació en Saint Louis, Missouri en 1950. Desde muy pequeño descubrió lo que era el blues gracias a su hermano Claude que ya se dedicaba a la música. A principios de los años setenta se estableció en Chicago, donde Homesick James se

convirtió en su padre adoptivo y mentor, introduciéndole en los ambientes y garitos del blues de la ciudad. Incluso Muddy Waters dijo de él en una ocasión que era el mejor músico joven de country blues que había escuchado. Si Muddy Waters pudiera verle actualmente seguro que diria que, como los viejos vinos, John Long ha mejorado con la edad. En el 2006 Delta Groove publicó su primer álbum del cual ya escribí una crítica en su momento. Ahora, transcurridos ya diez años desde aquel memorable “Lost And Found”, el maestro Long acaba de publicar este magnífico y espectacular “Stand Your Ground”, donde combina canciones en solitario, respaldado únicamente por su guitarra Washburn Montgomery, su Resonator y sus armónicas, con otras en las que está acompañado por Fred Kaplan al piano, Bill Stuve al contrabajo y Washington Rucker a la batería. John Long no sélo representa, sino que también vive y transmite con letras mayúsculas, la tradición del ‘old country blues’. ¡Una auténtica joya! BUENISIMO. Long John was born in Saint Louis, Missouri in 1950. He discovered the blues when he was a child, as his brother Claude already was a musician. In the early seventies he moved to Chicago, where Homesick James became his adoptive father and mentor, introducing him to the city blues circles. Even Muddy Waters once said he was the best young country blues musician he had ever heard. If Muddy Waters could see him now, he surely would say that, as old good wines, Long John has got better with age. In 2006 Delta Groove released his first album I also wrote a review in due time. Now, ten years after that unforgettable "Lost And Found", Long John has just published this magnificent and spectacular "Stand Your Ground", where he combines solo songs, only supported by his Washburn Montgomery guitar, his Resonator and his harmonica, with some other tracks where he is backed by Fred Kaplan on piano, Bill Stuve on upright bass and Washington Rucker on bass. Long John not only represents, but he also lives and communicates written in capital letters the old country blues tradition. This is a real gem! ESSENTIAL.

The Hitman Blues Band “The World Moves On”. Nerus / Frank Roszak 2016. The Hitman Blues Band representan lo que podría y debería considerarse como blues del siglo XXI, es decir, una música energética, apasionada, rítmica, rocosa, interpretada con mucho poderío y una excelente producción final. El grupo se asienta sobre una base bien cimentada y unas estructuras firmes y sin fisuras, difíciles de erosionar. Para este álbum el grupo ha decidido incluir siete nuevas composiciones suyas, más otros cinco temas propios que ya habían sido publicados anteriormente, arreglados y remasterizados para la ocasión y en los que también han añadido una sección de vientos. El álbum se completa con la versión del clásico de Willie Dixon “Hoochie Coochie Man”. Con todos estos mimbres esta banda neoyorkina ha confeccionado un disco excelente llamado a tener una buena acogida tanto por parte del público, como de la crítica especializada. A diferencia de su último álbum, en este nuevo trabajo el sonido de la banda ha adquirido algunos perfiles más actuales, primando unos arreglos muy bien cuidados y una música que mezcla a partes iguales pasión, suficiencia y una técnica soberbia. BUENISIMO. The Hitman Blues Band represents what should be considered the twenty first century blues, that is to say, an energetic, passionate, rocky and full of rhythm music, performed with an amazing energy together with an excellent final production. The group grows up over well founded basis and firm crack free structures. For

this album the group has decided to include seven new compositions, plus other five own songs that had already been published, but remixed and remastered again where they have added a horn section too. To finish the recording you will find a version of the classic Willie Dixon’s song "Hoochie Coochie Man". With all these material this New York band has produced an excellent album that surely deserves the interest and consideration of general audiences and specialized media. Unlike his previous album, in this new one the band has got a more actual sound, giving much more relevance to careful and teamed arrangements on a kind of music that mixes in equal parts passion, tasteful skills and a superb technique. GREAT.

Bill Phillippe “Parade”. Arkansas Street / Frank Roszak 2016. “Parade” es el segundo álbum del guitarrista y compositor Bill Phillippe que sigue al de su debut “Ghosts”. En esta nueva entrega Bill se sumerge más profundamente en las aguas del blues acústico y las jug bands ya que ha incorporado el acordeón, el clarinete y el contrabajo para crear una atmósfera única e irrepetible s lo largo de un puñado de composiciones propias alejadas de lo que la comercialidad busca actualmente entre los nuevos valores. Para ello Phillippe ha concentrado su atención en canciones intimistas enmarcadas en una musicalidad que podría recordar a la música francesa de antaño. En ellas este poeta tan especial nos cuenta historias de amor y desamor, en un desfile de experiencias cotidianas que conforman el devenir y el discurrir de la vida en un alarde de musicalidad y sensaciones singulares y evocadoras. Además de Bill a la guitarra y voz, han colaborado en la grabación Ivor Holloway al clarinete, Swen Hendrickson al contrabajo y Glenn Hartman al acordeón. BUENO. "Parade" is the second album coming from guitar player and composer Bill Phillippe, which follows to his debut one "Ghosts". In this new one Bill dives into the deep waters of the acoustic blues and jug bands, as he has included accordion, clarinet and upright bass to create a unique and incomparable atmosphere along a handful of own compositions which really are far away from the commercial demands now asked for new coming artists. To do so Phillippe has concentrated his efforts in developing intimate songs framed in a kind of music that sometimes could remind old French songs and tell us love and loss stories, in a journey to a parade of everyday experiences that make up daily life, always with a surprising musicality and different unique and inspiring feelings. Besides Bill on guitar and vocals, the other musicians who have collaborated in the recording are Ivor Holloway on clarinet, Swen Hendrickson on upright bass and Glenn Hartman on accordion. GOOD.

Mark May Band “Blues Heaven”. Connor Ray Music / Mark Pucci 2016. Aquí llega el cantante y guitarrista Mark May para deleite de todos los amantes del blues más incendiario y vital uno pueda imaginar. Mark se ha curtido al lado de artistas como Dicky Betts y, en este su sexto álbum hasta el momento, da un completo repaso a los diversos y variados caminos y vericuetos del blues. El disco se abre con “Boom Boom”, un majestuoso tributo al gran Albert Collins y que Mark interpreta de manera soberbia e intachable, para pasar luego al blues de Chicago más intenso y espectacular en canciones como “Money” o “Put Down That Poison”, para pasar después a recorrer la costa oeste y Texas en un par de temazos como son “She’s A Keeper” y “Leaving Houston”, incluso se atreve a explorar el ‘southern power-rock’ con cortes como “I’m Her

Fool” y “Almost Like A Suicide”. Por si su ardiente pulsación de guitarra y su formidable voz no fueran lo suficientemente atractivas, además de sus músicos habituales, Mark May ha contado con algunos invitados excepcionales como Greg Martin a la slide guitar, Hadden Sayers a la guitarra, Eric Demmer al saxo, Steve Krase a la armónica y la sección de vientos The Soul Saryr Horns. Un disco rico en matices y muy variado, dotado asimismo de una calidad excelente en todos y cada uno de los temas incluidos. BUENISIMO. Here comes singer and guitar player Mark May to delight all lovers of the most incendiary and vital blues you could imagine. Mark hardened himself playing in the band of artists like Dicky Betts and, in this sixth album till now, he gives an interesting overview of the various and varied blues styles. The cd opens with "Boom", a majestic tribute to the great Albert Collins, where Mark plays on a faultless superb way, then he moves on to the most intense spectacular Chicago blues in songs like "Money" or "Put Down That Poison", to go on and explore West Coast and Texas blues in a couple of tracks like "She's A Keeper" and "Leaving Houston", and he even dares to attack southern power-rock in cuts like "I'm Her Fool" and "Almost Like A Suicide". And if his electrifying guitar and his amazing voice were not attractive enough, Mark May has added to his usual musicians some exceptional guests as Greg Martin on slide guitar, Hadden Sayers on guitar, Eric Demmer on sax, Steve Krase on harmonica and a horn section named The Soul Saryr Horns. This is a varied album, rich in nuances, that shows an incredible quality in each and every one of the selected songs. GREAT.

The Mighty Orq “Love In A Hurricane”. Connor Ray Music / Mark Pucci 2016. Desde el año 2002 The Mighty Orq ha actuado por todos los Estados Unidos tanto en solitario como con su banda. Sin embargo no ha sido hasta después de quedar finalista en el International Blues Challenge, que ha alcanzado un mayor prestigio y reconocimiento por parte del público. Esto le ha llevado a publicar su primer disco en el que muestra todas sus facetas y habilidades, además de interpretar diferentes palos y estilos en los que se siente cómodo, tales como el rock-blues más aguerrido y trepidante que uno pueda imaginar hasta su faceta mas bucólica e intimista donde deja entrever todo su caudal poético, o incluso canciones compuestas para ser interpretadas con una ‘cigar-box-guitar’, sin olvidar el blues y el gospel, estilos que The Mighty Orq ama y respeta profundamente. Además de buen cantante y guitarrista, también se revela como un notable compositor en un puñado de canciones en las que está acompañado por su banda habitual que integran Jimmy Rose a la batería, percusión y mandolina, Barry Seelen al órgano, piano y acordeón y Terry Dry al bajo. Naturalmente The Mighty Orq canta y se encarga de tocar todas las guitarras acústicas, eléctricas, Resonator y cigar box. Un disco para mentes abiertas y paladares atrevidos. MUY BUENO. Since the year 2002 The Mighty Orq has player all over USA either solo or with his own band. However, it has not been until he was finalist at the International Blues Challenge that he has reached a wider prestige and recognition by different audiences. This has led him to publish his debut album, where he shows all his faces and skills by selecting different styles he feels comfortable with, from the most hardened frantic rock-blues one can imagine to his more intimate facet where he let us see all his poetical sensibility or even songs especially written to be played with a cigar-box-guitar, without forgetting blues and gospel styles The Mighty

Orq deeply loves and respects. Besides good singer and guitar player, he reveals himself as a remarkable composer along a handful of songs where he is backed by his usual band with Jimmy Rose on drums, percussion and mandolin, Barry Seelen on organ, piano and accordion and Terry Dry on bass. Obviously The Mighty Orq sings and plays all acoustic, electric, resonator and cigar box guitars. This is an album especially devoted to open minds and daring palates. VERY GOOD.

The Jon Storey Band “Blues ‘N’ Rocket Fuel”. Self Production 2016. Aquí tenemos a una banda que tiene su base en Extremadura con un rock-blues duro y sin fisuras y aportaciones de otros géneros que ayudan a componer una música variada y digerible. De hecho ellos son el prototipo de grupo paradigmático y ecléctico de la actual escena española con una serie de matices que posiblemente no tenga parangón con ningún otro grupo de su especie. The Jon Storey Band representa una de las múltiples variantes de esos grupos que van mas allá de lo musicalmente correcto, en un cruce de sonoridades que, aunque evolucionadas en su forma, se aferran a una sencillez creativa en su fondo, lo que da como resultado un trabajo bastante agradable de escuchar. Dicen que sus influencias musicales son variadas y no exentas de personalidad, pues sus componentes escuchan tanto a George Gershwin como a Thin Lizzy, Jimmi Hendrix, Steve Ray Vaughan, Peter Green, Jimmy Page, Jeff Beck, Rory Gallagher o Gary Moore. El trío lo forman Jon Storey guitarra y voz, Miguel Ángel España García, batería y Darío Agudo bajo. Si te gustan los grupos de rock blues con influencias cien por cien británicas, entonces estos son tus chicos. MUY BUENO. Here comes a band based in Extremadura which practices a strong hard rock-blues with contributions of other styles that help to create a varied and easy to assimilate music. In fact they are the image of a paradigmatic eclectic group of the actual Spanish scene with a number of nuances that possibly cannot be found in other similar groups. The Jon Storey Band represents one of the wide variants of these bands that go beyond what is musically correct, to walk on a crossroads of sounds that, although evolved in the layout, stick to a creative simplicity in the content, which gives as a result a quite pleasant music. They say their musical influences are varied and very personal ones, as all them listen and love so different musicians like George Gershwin, Thin Lizzy, Jimmi Hendrix, Steve Ray Vaughan, Peter Green, Jimmy Page, Jeff Beck, Rory Gallagher or Gary Moore. The trio includes Jon Storey on guitar and vocals, Miguel Angel España García on drums and Dario Agudo on bass. If you like rock blues groups with one hundred per cent British influences then, these are your guys. VERY GOOD.

Steve Gilbert “Hempstead Highway”. H-Tone 2016. Steve Gilbert es bien conocido por su excelente faceta de compositor y letrista. Ahora ha vuelto nuevamente a encerrarse en un estudio de grabación para ofrecernos este magnifico y aleccionador álbum que es pura dinamita lleno de un descarnado y enérgico blues. Por otra parte, las letras de las canciones que contiene el disco no dejarán a nadie indiferente, podrán gustar más o menos pero seguro que se comprenderá la intención que destilan. Para muestra aquí dejo una pincelada de una frase que pertenece a la primera canción que da titulo al álbum en la que dice: “Voy dando tumbos por la autopista Hempstead, es lo

único que ahora quiero hacer, seguiré por tanto dando tumbos hasta que me olvide de ti”, o como dice en otra: “Quisiera tener una pistola para enviarte directamente al infierno” y otra mas en la que dice: “Si los problemas fueran dinero, ¡Dios! juro que ahora seria millonario”. Con letras como estas y una música donde el blues y la ‘americana’ se mezclan a partes iguales, el resultado no puede ser otro que música sucia y polvorienta de carretera. MUY BUENO. Steve Gilbert is well known as an excellent composer and lyricist. Now he has locked himself again in a recording studio to give us this magnificent enlightening album that becomes pure dynamite as it is full of raw energetic blues. On the other hand, the song lyrics will not leave anyone indifferent, you may like or dislike them but I am sure you will catch their meaning and purpose. Only as an example here is the first phrase of the song that gives title to the album: "I’m a rolling-down the Hempstead Highway, it’s the only thing I want to do, if I keep on a rolling I just might forget about you” or as he says in another one: "I wish I had a shotgun I’d blow you straight to hell” or one more that says: "If the problems were money, God! I swear I’d be a millionaire". With lyrics like these and music where blues and Americans combine in equal parts, the result cannot be other than dusty dirty road blues. VERY GOOD.

Ginger St. James “One For The Money”. Busted Flat / Sarah French 2016. Con su dulce y a la vez carismática voz, su entrega y simpatía sobre el escenario y un repertorio bien definido en el que mezcla el country con el hillbilly, el bluegrass, el rock y un poquito de blues, esta cautivadora mujer que lleva por nombre Ginger St. James se está haciendo un merecido hueco en el siempre difícil panorama de la música en los Estados Unidos. Siguiendo la tradición de artistas como Loretta Lynn, Brenda Lee o Patsy Cline, Ginger St. James compone su propia música a partir de experiencias cotidianas como pueden ser crecer y vivir en una granja rodeada de animales, la sensación y el desespero de la soledad, la pérdida del ser amado pero también todos aquellos momentos de felicidad y alegría que todos los seres humanos disfrutamos en un momento u otro de nuestra vida. Con su buen hacer, su dinamismo y su alegre talante, Ginger está ganándose la simpatía, el corazón y el reconocimiento de un público cada vez más mayoritario. Además de componer, poner su voz y tocar la guitarra acústica, Ginger St. James está acompañada por Snow Heel Slim a la guitarra, Justine Fisher y Rob Foreman al contrabajo, Chris Altmann y Greg Brisco al piano y Andre Tellier a la batería. Big Pete “Live At Bluesnow!”. Coast To Coast 2016. Cuando un artista proveniente de Europa consigue triunfar en los Estados Unidos y hacerse un lugar entre los artistas de Delta Groove, eso no puede ser más que un sinónimo de su absoluta calidad en cuanto al blues más clásico y vintage se refiere. Big Pete es un cantante y armonicista que demuestra poseer un gran conocimiento del blues, con un versátil dominio y una técnica refinada, un ‘big fat tone’ y una maravillosa fluidez soplando la armónica, además de poseer una voz robusta y convincente. En esta ocasión lidera una banda formada por Sander Kooiman a la guitarra, Erkan Özdemir al bajo y Willie “Wuff” Maes a la batería con la que se presentó en el Festival Bluesnow de Basilea (Suiza) donde se grabó en directo este álbum, contando con la participación como invitados de lujo de Kid Ramos y Monster Mike Welch a las guitarras y Anthony Geraci al piano y Hammond B-3. Si al igual que yo eres un loco del blues de Chicago, Texas y del West Coast blues, entonces no debes dudar ni un momento en adquirir una copia de este excelente álbum que Big Pete ha querido dedicar a la memoria del recordado Randy Chortkoff, fundador y alma del sello Delta Groove. BUENISIMO. When an artist coming from Europe succeeds in United States and gets a place among Delta Groove musicians, it is a synonym of his absolute quality playing the most classic and vintage blues. Big Pete is a singer and harmonica player with a great knowledge of blues, gifted with a versatile fine technique, a big fat tone and a beautiful fluid harmonica blowing, besides a strong convincing voice. This time he leads a band with Sander Kooiman on guitar, Erkan Özdemir on bass and Willie “Wuff” Maes on drums. Together they performed at Bluesnow Festival in Basel (Switzerland), where this album was recorded live, also including the valuable collaboration of deluxe guest musicians like Kid Ramos and Monster Mike Welch on guitars and Anthony Geraci on piano and Hammond B-3. If, like me, you are crazy about Chicago, Texas and West Coast blues, then you should undoubtedly rush to get a copy of this excellent album that Big Pete wants to dedicate to the memory of the always remembered Randy Chortkoff, founder of the Delta Groove label. GREAT.

Willie May “Shaken Tree Blues”. Booman Music 2016. El compositor, cantante y guitarrista Willie May empezó su carrera en los años sesenta, pero no fue hasta 1986 en que grabó su primer disco. Después de sufrir diversos problemas de salud que le impidieron actuar, Willie May desapareció de la escena durante un largo periodo de tiempo. No fue hasta el año 2009 en que reapareció con más fuerza y energía que nunca, dispuesto a comerse el mundo, grabando seis álbumes en el corto espacio de tres años. Ahora nos presenta su más reciente trabajo de una espectacularidad incendiaria, donde May cubre varios estilos de blues en los que se siente cómodo y a sus anchas, canciones que van desde el swampy blues de la Louisiana, hasta algún que otro shuffle, pasando por el folk blues, algo de bayou e incluso algunos ritmos africanos, junto a otros más latinos y algún tema a lo Tom Waits. Un disco imaginativo y sugerente donde la cuidadosa mezcla de instrumentación tanto eléctrica como acústica (ukelele, ocarina, kalimba, acordeón, banjo, violín) crean una atmósfera delicada y envolvente. and composer Willie May began his career in the 60’s, but it was not until 1986 that he recorded his first album. After suffering different health problems and injuries that did not let him follow on with his music career, Willie May disappeared of the stage for a long period of time. It was not until year 2009 when he came back with more strength and energy than ever and a burning desire to conquer the audiences, recording six albums in only three years. Now he brings us his most amazing incendiary work, where May performs several styles of blues he feels comfortable with, songs that go from the swampy Louisiana blues, to shuffles, folk blues, bayou music and even some African rhythms, along with other more Latin ones, and a couple of songs in Tom Waits’ path. This is an imaginative suggestive album where the careful mixture of electric and acoustic instruments (ukulele, ocarina, kalimba, accordion, banjo, violin) create a delicate wrapping atmosphere. Ida Bang & The Blue Tears “Possibilities”. Self Production 2016. El blues europeo nos sorprende cada día con nuevas bandas que aportan juventud y dan vida al género. Este es el caso de los suecos Ida Bang & The Blue Tears, un grupo formado por músicos muy jóvenes, bien preparados para comerse el mercado y, de este modo, conseguir hacerse un lugar alto y bien posicionado en el panorama del blues. Formados en el año 2013, en este 2016 representaron a su país en la sexta edición del International Blues Challenge que organiza la European Blues Union celebrada esta pasada primavera en Torrita di Siena, Italia, causando muy buena impresión. Desde entonces y gracias a su buen hacer y a tener las ideas claras, han alcanzado una interesante notoriedad, actuando en diferentes festivales de blues de Europa. En este disco los chicos saben transmitir con gusto, elegancia y una buena interpretación, un estilo de blues original y bien definido, inspirándose sobre todo en el jump blues de la costa oeste y en el blues tejano que hoy en día se puede escuchar tanto en Houston como en Austin o Dallas. MUY BUENO. European blues daily surprises us with new bands which bring youth and give life to the genre. This is the case of Sweddish group Ida Bang & The Blue Tears, a band formed by very young musicians, ready to conquer the market and reach a high place and a good position in blues scene. Formed in year 2013, in this 2016 they represented his country at the sixth edition of the International Blues Challenge organized by the European Blues Union held last spring in Torrita di Siena, Italy where they made a good impression. Since then on and thanks to their clever ideas and good work, they have got an interesting notoriety, playing in different European blues festivals. In this album the guys tastefully communicate an original well defined blues, thanks to an elegant good performing deeply inspired in West Coast jump blues and the Texas blues which can be found now in cities like Houston, Austin or Dallas. VERY GOOD.

Lluis Coloma Trio “Boogie Wins Again”. Swing Alley 2016. Gracias a este nuevo “Boogie Wins Again” tenemos la oportunidad reencontrarnos con uno de los mas prolíficos y versátiles pianistas españoles de blues y boogie-woogie. Me refiero a Lluis Coloma, incansable luchador e infatigable trabajador por la causa del boogie-woogie, ya sea tradicional o de nuevo cuño. Acompañado de sus habituales Marc Ruiz a la batería y Manolo Germán al contrabajo, en este último trabajo Coloma incluye catorce temas mas variados

de lo que habitualmente suele grabar. Canciones de Bob Dylan, Lennon y McCartney, Michael Jackson o Meade Lux Lewis entre otros, junto a sus propias piezas componen un amplio abanico y muestrario de lo que musicalmente a Lluis le gusta hacer en la actualidad, atreviéndose incluso a componer un ‘flamenco boogie’ magistral con la inestimable colaboración del guitarrista flamenco Miguel Ángel Pozo Nieto y Roger Blavia al cajón y las palmas. A pesar de todo esto, no hay que pensar que Lluis Coloma corra el riesgo de caer en la pretensión de especular con aquello de “que grande soy”, mas bien al contrario, una vez más con su humildad habitual, su simpatía y esa técnica de la que hace gala, nos obsequia con un nuevo trabajo lleno de sorpresas, magia y mucho corazón. MUY BUENO. Thanks to this new album "Boogie Wins Again" we have the opportunity to meet again one of the most productive and versatile Spanish blues and boogie-woogie piano players. I am talking about Lluis Coloma, a tireless fighter and devoted worker for the boogie-woogie cause, both traditional or the new actual one. Backed by his usual musicians Marc Ruiz on drums and Manolo Germán on double bass, in this last work Coloma includes a list of fourteen more varied songs than he usually has done in previous recordings. Songs coming from Bob Dylan, Lennon and McCartney, Michael Jackson or Meade Lux Lewis among others, together with his own ones, form an interesting showcase of what Lluis musically likes to play now and he even dares to play a superb 'flamenco boogie' with the valuable collaboration of flamenco guitar player Miguel Angel Nieto and Roger Blavia on box drum and hand-clapping. Those said, we should not think Lluis Coloma has the risk to pretend and think something like “I’m great", but just the contrary, once again, with his usual modesty, his sympathy and his amazing technique, he brings us a new album full of magic and beautiful surprises that come out of his heart. Spencer Mackenzie “Infected With The Blues”. Self Production / Sarah French 2016. Con sólo dieciséis años Spencer Mackenzie nos ha dejado totalmente sorprendidos por su increíble capacidad para tocar la guitarra y también para cantar. Dotado de un estilo vocal apasionado, y a la vez firme y lleno de aplomo, en éste su debut discográfico Spencer demuestra un perfecto control de sus cualidades artísticas, aportando frescura y un perfecto dominio de la técnica y el tempo. Para ello ha incluido cinco versiones y tres temas originales, donde nos muestra el camino que, siendo tan joven, le ha conducido hasta el blues. Concretamente en “Infected With The Blues”, tema que da titulo al álbum, Spencer nos relata que a menudo músicos más maduros le dicen que es demasiado joven para comprender y tener el feeling del blues, a lo que les responde que la música corre por sus venas y que él no escogió el blues sino que fue el blues quien lo escogió a él quedando atrapado por él. En su segundo tema propio “Devil Under Her Skin” nos habla de las relaciones familiares y el tercero “Goodbye Lucille” es su sentido homenaje a B.B. King, uno de sus máximos referentes. Como él mismo dice en su disco “Gracias Ray, Jimi, Buddy, Stevie, B.B., Muddy… por contagiarme el blues”. Por todo eso, no deberíais pasar por alto este primer álbum de Spencer Mackenzie, un chaval con mucho talento y una larga carrera por delante. BUENISIMO. Only aged sixteen, Spencer Mackenzie has totally surprised us by his incredible skills to play guitar and sing. Gifted with a passionate and, at the same time, strong and self-assured vocal style, in this debut album Spencer

shows a perfect control of his artistic qualities, providing a cool mastery technique and an amazing tempo. To do so, he has included five versions and three original songs, where he explains the way how, being so young, has led him to the blues. In "Infected With The Blues", song that gives title to the album, Spencer says often other elder musicians say him he is too young to understand and get the blues feeling and he explains them music is just running through his veins and that did not choose the blues, the blues chose him. In his second own song "Devil Under Her Skin" he tells us about family relationships and the third one "Goodbye Lucille" is his tribute to B.B. King, he deeply admires. As he also says in the album: "Thanks Ray, Jimi, Buddy, Stevie, B.B., Muddy… for infecting the blues to me". You should not overlook this Spencer Mackenzie debut album, a kid with a great talent and a long career ahead. GREAT.

Guy Verlinde “Rooted In The Blues”. Dixiefrog 2016. Con este nuevo trabajo el cantante y guitarrista belga, antes conocido como Lightnin’ Guy y ahora como Guy Verlinde, vuelve a sus orígenes más blueseros, recogiendo algunos de sus temas antiguos no publicados en anteriores trabajos, junto a otros de cosecha propia y nueva factura. Guy es un músico de mucho calado, con las ideas claras y un concepto del blues totalmente tradicional que, sin embargo, adorna y explicita con novedosa actualidad. La idea de este disco le surgió durante una noche de insomnio. A la mañana siguiente realizó algunas llamadas y, dos días más tarde y sin ningún ensayo previo, todos los músicos se reunieron en el estudio para grabar, juntos y de una sola tirada, trece excelentes temas, terminando en un par de días todo el trabajo. Junto a Guy a la voz y la guitarra, se dieron cita algunos de los mejores músicos de Bélgica y Holanda, como Richard Van Bergen a las guitarras, René Stock al bajo, Frederik Van Den Berghe a la batería, Steven Troch a la armónica y Patrick Cuyvers a los teclados, completando en dos gélidos días del mes de enero de 2016 este magnífico álbum lleno de buen blues e interpretado con enorme swing y groove, además de mucha solera. BUENISIMO. With this new album, Belgian singer and guitarist, formerly known as Lightnin' Guy and now as Guy Verlinde, comes back to his most bluesy origins, gathering some of his old songs not released in previous records, together with other new own ones. Guy is a significant musician with clear ideas and a totally traditional blues concept although he displays and dresses it with an actual innovative wrapping. The idea of recording this album came to his mind on a sleepless night. Next morning he did a few telephone calls and, two days later without any rehearsal, all the musicians met in the recording studio to play thirteen excellent songs live in one room which were finished in a couple of days. Besides Guy on guitar and voice, there were some of the best Belgium and The Netherlands musicians, like Richard Van Bergen on guitars, René Stock on bass, Frederik Van Den Berghe on drums, Steven Troch on harmonica and Patrick Cuyvers on keyboards, who completed in two cold days of January 2016 this magnificent album full of good blues, performed with a lot of swing, groove and an incredible personality. GREAT.

Ñaco Goñi “30 Años”. Gaztelupeko Hotsak 2014. Personaje entrañable y con una vida totalmente dedicada al blues, el armonicista Ñaco Goñi publica un álbum que simplemente titula “30 Años”. Atrás quedan aquellas épocas en las

que con sólo catorce años dejó los estudios y comenzó a tocar en el metro de Madrid junto a Malcom Scarpa. Desde entonces hasta el día de hoy Ñaco no ha parado de tocar y colaborar en mil y un proyectos junto a músicos como Tonky de la Peña, Miguel Ríos, Loquillo, Javier Vargas, Mingo Balaguer, Danny Boy o bandas como Mermelada o Los Bluescavidas. Entre sus últimos proyectos se hallan los dos recopilatorios “Blues Con Los Colegas” donde intervinieron la flor y nata del blues peninsular, además de trabajar en recoger testimonios y grabaciones sobre el blues en España. En este trabajo, que salió al mercado en el 2014, se incluyen algunas grabaciones escogidas cuidadosamente y que constituyen un verdadero tesoro sonoro de toda la trayectoria de uno de los más grandes armonicistas de blues que ha dado nuestro país. BUENISIMO. Nice person with a life totally devoted to the blues, harmonica player Ñaco Goñi publishes an album he simply entitles "30 Years". Far away are those times where, only aged fourteen, he left school and began to play with guitar player and singer Malcolm Scarpa in Madrid subway. From that moment to present time Ñaco has not stopped to play and collaborate in thousand of projects with musicians like Tonky de la Peña, Miguel Ríos, Loquillo, Javier Vargas, Mingo Balaguer, Danny Boy or bands like Mermelada or Los Bluescavidas. Among his latest projects mention the two compilations "Blues Con Los Colegas" where he has gathered the cream of Spanish blues musicians, besides working in collecting testimonials and recordings of the blues in Spain. In this album, that was published in 2014, he has included some recordings carefully selected that constitute a real sound treasure and a tour around the whole career of one of the greatest blues harmonica players in our country. Paul Orta & Tonky Blues Band “Hard Times Blues”. Gaztelupeko Hotsak 2015. Paul Orta es un armonicista tejano de reputado prestigio en toda la zona de Austin, Dallas y Houston. Durante su dilatada carrera Paul ha compartido escenario con Jimmy Rogers, Pinetop Perkins, Eddie Taylor, Luther Allison, Hubert Sumlin entro otros muchos. Por su parte Tonky de la Peña es uno de los nombres legendarios de la escena del blues española y en su banda se han forjado nombres como Ñaco Goñi, Francisco Simón, Adrián Costa o Marcos Coll. A raíz de alguna que otra actuación, entre Paul Orta y Tonky apareció una comunicación lo suficientemente fuerte como para decidirse a grabar juntos. Este es su segundo álbum en mutua colaboración, donde muestran todo su conocimiento, solidez, potencial y madurez a lo largo de seis temas clásicos del blues como “Chicken Shack”, “Take Out Some Insurance”, “Hard Hearted Woman”, “Shake Rattle And Roll”, “Everything Gonna Be Alright” y “One Way Out”, además de una canción de Tonky, “Texas Gulf Fiesta”, otro de Paul Orta, “Babe” y, finalmente, uno firmado por ambos “Hard Times Blues” que da título al cd. Paul Orta, a la armónica y voz, Tonky de la Peña guitarra, Ricky Avila al bajo y Adrián Carrera a la batería firman un disco de puro blues desgarrado y demoledor. BUENISIMO. Paul Orta is an harmonica player from Texas who has got a good reputation in Austin, Dallas and Houston areas. Along his wide career Paul has shared stage with Jimmy Rogers, Pinetop Perkins, Eddie Taylor, Luther Allison or Hubert Sumlin among many others. On the other hand, Tonky de la Peña is one of the legendary names of Spanish blues scene and some great musicians like Ñaco Goñi, Francisco Simón, Adrián Costa or Marcos Coll got experience in his band. As a result of some shows together,

there appeared a good feedback and a musical communication between Paul Orta and Tonky, strong enough to make them decide to record together. This is the second album done in mutual collaboration, where they show all their knowledge, strength, potential and maturity along six classic blues songs like "Chicken Shack", "Take Out Some Insurance", "Hard Hearted Woman", "Shake Rattle and Roll", "Everything Gonna Be Alright" and "One Way Out", besides one Tonky’s song "Texas Gulf Fiesta", another one coming from Paul Orta, "Babe" and, finally, one signed by both musicians "Hard Times Blues" that gives title to the cd. Paul Orta, on harmonica and vocals, Tonky de la Peña guitar, Ricky Avila on drums and Adrián Carrera on drums sign an album of pure raw and devastating blues. GREAT.

Dixie Town “Same Old Story”. Gaztelupeko Hotsak 2015. Dixie Town es una banda proveniente de Vigo y fundada en el año 2007. Practican un estilo que podríamos definir como hard blues y rock psicodélico con un sonido directo, grasiento y espectacular. Con varios discos ya publicados, en 2015 graban este nuevo y trepidante trabajo titulado “Same Old Story”. En él quieren transmitir toda la fuerza y la energía que desprenden en sus actuaciones en directo, a lo largo de catorce canciones donde incluyen desde blues del Delta hasta el funk más urbano, el boogie hipnótico y repetitivo, la música americana, el southern rock o simplemente el rock and roll. Todo ello saben transmitirlo al oyente sin altibajos, con una comunicación fuerte y despiadada que los convierte en un grupo puntero en lo que a este estilo de música se refiere. La banda la forman Isaac Campos a los teclados, Lucas Ferrández a la batería y Oscar Fontán y Pepe Ferrández a la voz y a las guitarras. Un disco sorprendente por su calidad que seguro gustará más de lo que a priori uno se pueda imaginar. No son americanos pero como si lo fueran. MUY BUENO. Dixie Town is a band coming from Vigo and founded in 2007. They perform a style that could be defined as hard blues and psychedelic rock and a straightforward greasy superb sound. With some albums published, in 2015 they recorded this new and exciting one entitled "Same Old Story", where they want to communicate the same power and energy of their live performing. A total of fourteen songs where they give us from Delta blues to a more urban funk, hypnotic repetitive boogie, Americana, southern rock or simply rock and roll. All the music is done without ups and downs, always with a strong cutthroat display that makes them become an outstanding band of that particular style. The group is formed by Isaac Campos on keyboards, Lucas Ferrández on drums and Oscar Fontán and Pepe Ferrández on vocals and guitars. This is a surprising high quality record that will certainly be appreciated more than it could at first sight be imagined. They are not American but they look like if they were. VERY GOOD.

Animal Blues “Animal Blues”. Gaztelupeko Hotsak 2015. Desde Navarra nos llega el primer álbum de los Animal Blues, un trabajo donde estos músicos demuestran que el blues puede ser interpretado desde muy distintos puntos de vista. El disco contiene once versiones que van desde piezas conocidas a otras bastante más oscuras que ellos llevan a su terreno confiriéndoles una dimensión propia con personalidad y elegancia, sin que por ello pierdan ni un ápice de frescura, fuerza y expresividad. Este grupo está formado por Juanma Urriza a la batería, Kike Arza al bajo, Alejando Mingot a la guitarra y lap steel y

Jaime Alvarelos a la guitarra y voz. También cuentan con la colaboración de Fredi Pelaez a los teclados y Hammond y Batiz a la guitarra y producción, junto a una sección de metales formada por Ion Celestino a la trompeta, Miguel ‘Pintxo’ Villar al saxo y Eneko Urrestarazu al trombón. Todos ellos han sabido combinar unos arreglos válidos e interesantes en una colección de ‘covers’ que podían no haber pasado de mediocres y que, sin embargo, gracias al buen hacer de estos músicos se han convertido en un producto más que notable. MUY BUENO. From Navarra comes the first album of The Animal Blues, a recording where these musicians show blues can be performed on very different ways. The cd gathers eleven song covers, from well known ones to other darker ones, they manage to give their own personality and a new dimension with an elegant display and not losing a whit of strength, expressivity and spontaneity. This group is formed by Juanma Urriza on drums, Kike Arza on bass, Alejandro Mingot on guitar and lap steel and Jaime Alvarelos on guitar and vocals. They have also counted with the valuable collaboration of Fredi Pelaez on keyboards and Hammond and Batiz on guitar and music production, together with a horn section with Ion Celestino on trumpet, Miguel 'Pintxo' Villar on sax and Eneko Urrestarazu on trombone. All they have managed to make up some interesting creative arrangements, on a collection of covers that might be not very interesting but, thanks to these musicians good work, become a more than remarkable songs. VERY GOOD.

The Long Johns Band “II”. Gaztelupeko Hotsak 2016. Siguiendo la estela del conocido grupo Los Deltonos, desde Cantabria The Long Johns Band beben de las influencias del blues rock más energético y pragmático. El grupo se fundó en el 2013 y desde entonces no han parado de trabajar por los circuitos más subterráneos y no tan subterráneos de toda la geografía española. En el 2014 publicaron su primer disco y ahora vuelven de nuevo a la carga con esta segunda entrega, en la que se aprecia mucha más personalidad, demostrando mayor madurez tanto en la música como en los textos de las canciones, donde Dari King y Oscar Tejas se nos revelan como los nuevos trovadores del blues cantábrico. Me han sorprendido y encantado algunas de las letras de estos músicos y estoy seguro que a vosotros también os gustarán. Como ejemplo basta escuchar un párrafo de uno de sus temas que dice “Y he perdido las llaves y al entrar en un bar tocaba la Long Johns Band. Me he juntado con ellos a quemar la ciudad”. ¿Acaso no te llaman la atención? Amigos que me estáis leyendo, conseguid una copia del álbum y seguro que me lo vais a agradecer durante mucho tiempo. MUY BUENO. Following the path of well-known group The Deltonos, from Cantabria The Long Johns Band drink of the most energetic and pragmatic blues rock influences. The group was founded in 2013 and, since then on, they have not stopped to work in the most underground and no so underground circuits all over Spain. In 2014 they published their first album and now they come back with this second one, where they show an amazing personality, as well as a wider maturity both in music and lyrics, where Dari King and Oscar Texas reveal themselves as the new Cantabrian blues troubadours. I have been surprised and delighted by some of these musicians lyrics and I am sure to you I also like them. Only as an example, let me copy a couple of one song lines: "I lost my home keys. I came in a bar and The Long Johns Band was playing. I hang out with them to

burn the city". Does not call your attention? All friends who are reading these lines, please get a cd copy and you will not be disappointed. VERY GOOD.

Blues & Decker “From The Men We Are”. Gaztelupeko Hotsak 2016. Los inicios de Blues & Decker fueron los de una banda de blues al uso, es decir, dedicados a interpretar versiones de Chicago, Texas y algún otro estilo de blues. Pronto se atrevieron a dar un paso al frente, investigando en las profundidades de otros estilos musicales de tendencia negroide como el funk, el gospel, el soul e incluso se atrevieron con la música celta tradicional de las tierras asturianas de donde son originarios, pero sin apartarse nunca de la tradición de aquel blues con el que empezaron su carrera. Este es su tercer trabajo que ha sido muy bien recibido por parte de los aficionados y seguidores del grupo, en el que gracias a su talento como músicos y compositores, traspasan los estilos preconcebidos y las etiquetas que todos somos proclives a otorgar, para ofrecernos un repertorio con gran personalidad y enjundia. Gustavo Pérez a la voz y guitarra rítmica, Ludwig Molina a la batería, Kike Cuetos al bajo y Guzmán Lanza a la guitarra solista componen esta inclasificable y especial banda que tiene mucho que aportar a la nueva escena del rock nacional. MUY BUENO. The Blues & Decker began their musical career as a genuine blues band, performing Chicago, Texas and some other blues styles. Soon they did a step ahead investigating in the depths of black oriented musical genres like funk, gospel or soul and they even dared with traditional Celtic roots music of Asturias where they come from, but they never lost the blues flavour of the first times. This is their third work which has been well received by music lovers and all band fans. Thanks to the talent they show as musicians and composers, this album exceeds preconceived styles and labels we all like to give, to surprise us with a personal substantial repertoire. Gustavo Pérez on vocals and rhythm guitar, Ludwig Molina on drums, Kike Cuetos on bass and Guzmán Lanza on lead guitar make up this unclassifiable very special band which has much to say in new national rock scene. Humphrey And The Farmers “Doin’ The Farmer Thing”, Gaztelupeko Hotsak 2016. Una estupenda formación salida de la cantera aragonesa que sabe muy bien como exponer su discurso del blues al que añaden funk, groove y algunos detalles algo más diluidos de jazz. Humphrey & The Farmers beben de no sólo de las fuentes más puristas del blues sino también de algunos de los más modernos guitarristas blancos representantes del nuevo sonido como Anson Funderburgh, Kid Ramos, Junior Watson o Little Charlie Baty, todo ello muy acorde a los sonidos del West Coast blues. Después de los tres años que llevan tocando juntos, el grupo ha conseguido un sonido personal, original y bien trabajado. Para la realización de este disco la banda ha sabido escoger el repertorio con muy buen criterio, con temas que van de Booker T. Jones hasta Kim Wilson o Kirk Fletcher, imponiendo su buen hacer en cada una de las nueve canciones que componen este resumido y estupendo muestrario de lo que la banda interpreta en directo. Los músicos que forman Humphrey And The Farmers son Guillermo Garralaga guitarra, Diego Hervalejo teclados, Ernesto Larcher bajo, Israel Tuvilleja bateria, Josemi Casanova voz y trombón, Javier Callen saxo alto y Eduardo Pons saxo tenor. Ponte las pilas y empápate del buen hacer de estos músicos maños con este álbum que servirá para

despertar tus sentidos. MUY BUENO. This is a great band coming from Aragón (Spain), which knows very well how to communicate his blues speech adding some funk, groove and little jazz details to it. Humphrey And The Farmers not only drink of the more genuine sources of blues but also of the most actual white new sound representative guitar players like Anson Funderburgh, Kid Ramos, Junior Watson or Little Charlie Baty, always in a good West Coast blues. After three years playing together, the group has now got a personal original good teamed sound. For this album they have cleverly chosen a good varied repertoire, with songs ranging from Booker T. Jones to Kim Wilson or Kirk Fletcher, doing a very interesting work in each of the nine songs that make up a good example of what the band plays live. Gran conocedor y estudioso del blues del Delta, interpreta también con la misma perfección otros estilos de blues. Por su parte Marcos Coll es de sobras conocido entre los aficionados españoles al blues por su depurada técnica y extraordinario sonido soplando la armónica. Junto a Adrián Costa, Marcos formó hace ya bastantes años Los Reyes del KO, dúo de culto entre los aficionados al blues. Stefano y Marcos se conocieron en Berlín y, en enero de 2016, grabaron este magnifico álbum donde nos ofrecen un excelente glosario del blues mas sincero, honesto y a la vez corrosivo que brota de lo más profundo de las entrañas, en un abanico de diez canciones que van desde el pantanoso blues de los bayous, a coquetear con el gospel, junto a covers de Robert Johnson o Bessie Smith, algún que otro tema propio e incluso se atreven con el hip-hop. En el disco han contado con la colaboración de Guitar Crusher, Dorrey Lyles, y MC Diamondog cantando un tema cada uno, y Pietro Martinelli al contrabajo, junto a Marcos Coll a las armónicas y Stefano Ronchi a las guitarras footdrum y sampling. Master and expert of Delta blues, he also plays with credit and reliability other blues styles. On the other hand Marcos Coll is well known among Spanish blues fans, thanks to his fine technique and amazing harmonica blowing. Together with Adrián Costa, several years ago Marcos formed Los Reyes del KO, a cult highly respected duo among blues lovers.
