「泌尿學」館藏資源示意圖

黃嫃嫆（推廣服務股）

一、學科範圍

泌尿學包含了泌尿系統（包含腎上腺、腎臟、輸尿管、膀胱、尿道），及男性的生

殖系統（包括攝護腺、睪丸，以及陰莖等組織器官）。女性的生殖系統則屬於婦產科管

轄。所以泌尿科即針對男、女性的泌尿系統以及男性生殖系統，提供專業的諮詢、檢查

與治療。

另外泌尿科與腎臟內科不同之處在於，泌尿科指的是泌尿「外科」，屬於外科系統

的一支，擅長各種尿路的檢查和手術，並佐以藥物治療。腎臟內科則屬於內科的一支，

擅長各種尿毒症和電解質失調的治療。泌尿科可細分為下列幾個次專科：尿路結石、泌

尿腫瘤、排尿障礙、小兒泌尿、男性不孕症、性功能障礙及腎臟移植等。
