Vibrating Vertical Dryer for Diverse Biomass/Waste with Safe Emission The present invention relates to dryer (1) having vertical

configuration for removing moisture from organic and biomass waste. It comprises drying tower (2) having plurality of vertically

aligned declined trays (12) having perforation on surface thereof whereupon the wet material is fed through the hopper (5) and

conveyer (6). Said material moves downwardly from one tray to another by vibration and eventually dried materials are discharge

through discharge conveyer (9). The hot air is flown from bottom of the lowermost tray (12) that has tendency to move upward so that

it cross the flow of wet material thereby it carry the moisture from the material. Some amount of hot air is also flown at different level

of the trays (12) to maintain temperate in tower (2). Further, perforated surface of trays (12) causes heat transfer to material flowing

thereon. Thus, the moisture from the material is removed in efficient way.

    (57) Abstract :

ABSTRACT Title: - Enhanced Bandwidth Microstrip Based Radiating Structure Using Complementary Split Ring Resonator A

method of designing the Patch antenna configuration with enhancement in bandwidth is provided. First the Conventional patch

antenna is designed and simulated. The circular patch is meandered at the edges to improve the radiation and ultimately the result of

microstrip patch antenna. In the next design the Defective ground structure (CSRR) technique is implemented by etching the CSRR

structure in the ground plane of the antenna. Interestingly There is an enhancement of 42% enhancement in the bandwidth when

compared to conventional patch antenna and antenna loaded with CSRR configuration. The enhancement in terms of bandwidth is

observed due to the mutual coupling between the CSRR and Microstrip patch which influences the impedance and current flow in the

antenna. The number of bands in conventional patch antenna configuration is 3 where as in antenna configuration loaded with CSRR

the number of bands is 4.

    (57) Abstract :

Writer verification system compares the two test samples and gives the decision about whether the two samples are written by the

same or a different person. The decision is based on the threshold value of the claimed writer. It is observed that the style of a writer

and the type of writing instrument used, greatly affects the handwriting. The ink width variation in the handwritten document image

depends on the writing instrument, pen pressure and pen control. It also decides the ink distribution in the handwritten document

image. Ink distribution causes variation in handwriting and it results into high error rates. It is difficult to get high accuracy of writer

identification and verification under different ink width conditions. The existing off-line English handwriting databases of writer

identification and verification ignored the ink width variations for same writer samples. Mostly, writer identification is dealt with,

which find likely list of Top 1 and Top 10 writers from the known dataset. Very less work is reported in writer verification.

Researchers evaluated the performance of their methods on smaller dataset(s) except Srihari (used Centre of Excellence in Document

Analysis and Recognition, CEDAR database of 1000 writers) and Bulacu (used IAM database of 650 writers). Researchers used

experimental datasets containing only 2-4 samples of each writer. In such case, it is not possible to achieve False Acceptance Rate

(FAR) equal to False Rejection Rate (FRR) and Equal Error Rate (EER) cannot be used as a performance parameter for writer

verification. It is found that EER method of threshold calculation using only 2/3 samples in the dataset is inappropriate. Only one

sample was used for training and testing of writer identification and verification. Most of the work is reported in Chinese and Arabic

language. This motivated us to design the off-line text-independent writer verification system in English handwritten document under

different ink width conditions using new features/methods which will provide low false acceptance error rate and less response time

on largest dataset. The existing dataset samples do not contain ink distribution for same writer samples. Therefore, a new dataset is

created which contains 2 samples using ball pen and 2 samples using sketch pen of each 1000 writers. The handwriting samples were

collected from males and females of different age groups, different professions and belonging to different places. The handwriting

samples were scanned using professional hp scanner as 8 bit colour JPEG image with 300 dpi resolution. The newly created database

is named as SLK Database. It is made publically available and freely downloadable from homepage www.sharadakore.com. In this

research work, the writer verification methods used slant, pixel distribution in different directions and Entropy feature in the

handwritten document image. Features are extracted based on contour using chain code method. Mmultistage writer verification

improved accuracy further, using combination of chain code based features. To reduce verification time (T) and improve accuracy

further, classification is done before multistage writer verification. Writer classification is done based on directional ink distribution

information. It is calculated using Entropy of wavelet decomposed sub-band images. Experimental result has shown that the

classification prior to multistage writer verification gives FAR of 1.92%, verification accuracy of 91.49 % and takes verification time

of 21.672000secs for 1000 writers in the SLK dataset 2. The presented methods are text and ink width independent. A generalized

model which works under different text and ink width is presented for writer verification. This automatic writer verification system

can be used to verify person based on handwriting. It is useful in determining the authentication in case of handwritten documents

such as Patents, Will deed, personal notes, examination answer sheets, death threats, suicide notes, ransom notes etc.

Electronic voting machine not only treats the given vote electronically, it facilitates the voter to eyewitness its optical display on the

ballot indicator by lighting the red bulb. My invention is based on capturing the optical display of the voters voting moment in a

photograph. The flash/trigger activated camera is fixed and focused on a ballot indicator to capture the image of a ballot indicator the

moment a red bulb lights up. Thus the moment the red bulb meant for certain candidate lights up, the camera captures the image of the

ballot indicator. This image is saved as evidence of the vote given to certain candidate at certain time by a certain serial number. The

attached software converts the optical image into candidates name and symbol and sends to the unit control for a cross check against a

vote captured electronically by EVM. In a rarest of the rare case of mismatch between optical and electronic votes, the saved image

    stands as reliable evidence.

ABSTRACT Methods and systems for managing relays in LTE based communication networks. Embodiments herein use of a packet

handler node and an additional radio interface in the UE, enabling the creation of an overlay network on top of an existing LTE

network. The overlay network helps in the transfer of data between the UE and the AS even when the UE is not directly connected to

the LTE network by encapsulating the data from the out-of-coverage UE within the IP packet of at least one nearby relay UE

connected to the LTE network and is then forwarded to the LTE core network. The out-of-coverage UE uses the additional radio

interface to send packets to the relay UE. FIG. 1

    (57) Abstract :

Abstract of the invention I have invented a mechanism that saves time and energy by replacing the conventional disc, crank and

slotted lever system which does not have gear or slotted lever in a quick return mechanism, a system which is widely used in metal

cutting machines, but not limited to it. This has been achieved through a unique design which redefines the conversion of rotary

motion into reciprocating motion by a compact single mechanism benefiting motion control by increasing the time for cutting stroke,

reducing the time for return stroke i.e. idle Stroke / vice versa; which leads to an increment in the efficiency of a quick return

mechanism. Hence the number of working strokes and time required for return stroke decreases, which helps in increasing the

efficiency of cutting per unit time. Perpendicular motion transmission has been developed without using bevel gears.

    (57) Abstract :

The invention of Smart Electric geyser is a big leap in utilization of dead storage hot water. By doing so, 50 % of water is saved on

day to day use and 50% of electric energy is saved, which helps to combat global warming. The conservation of depleting resources is

the main concern behind these inventions. By our Invention there will be a huge saving in mega cities, It has direct impact on electric

energy conservation. In every major city, early morning at 5:-00 AM to 7:00 AM electrical demand shoots up exponentially. This is

mainly because of switching ON of Geyser/Boilers at that time, this leads to tough peak demand management from the supply

companies. Later on this demand comes down. But half the energy used to heat the water in the morning goes waste. This is mainly

due to non-usable heated water in the geyser, which is termed as dead storage water. This is done basically to prevent the water level

from falling below the heater element level, so that heater elements are always immersed in the water. This dead storage itself is

swallowing half the energy of the peak demand which comes early morning to Electricity supply companies. Because once heated this

dead storage water looses the heat in just 4 hrs, and later on if anyone wants to take bath the water needs to be heated up again. In this

way the act of heating and cooling of water results in energy wastage and also formation of more scales on the heater coil. Our

invention of Smart Electric Geyser as a utility product aims at eliminating the wastage of water and electricity, in the first step, by

using Two way Air vent valve, we invented a simple method of preventing cold water from mixing with hot water. This is invented to

avoid heat from getting wasted. The invention also helps in utilizing the complete hot water and mixing it up to the required level of

temperature for utility. In this way the invention is having very innovative and conservation approach to reduce the peak demand of

electricity. Every day there is a shortfall of Electricity and water for the ever expanding urban dwellings, in rural areas for the sake of

energy trees were fell down and de forestation has started. In order to counter these problems we need to go for sustained usage of the

resources. Saving water will have long term effect on all our eco systems. The drawback in present Electric geyser is continued

wastage of hot water and repeated reheating. This results in wastage of energy. In order to eliminate this wastage, we introduced a

Two way air vent valve, this valve is having Poly Propylene ball as float. The air vent place allows steam and air to escape out but

how ever when water started rising to the level of the ball, the ball floats up and blocks the out let path and thereby creating necessary

air space within geyser and also locks the out flow of water. The valve also stops the escape of heat as the geyser heats up, otherwise

there are all the chances that the heat is lost and thereby reducing the efficiency of the Geyser. This is one function of the valve, next

function is very important. When the inlet is closed, the out let is open, the valve acts immediately and the ball is pulled down and

releases the air from outside. This air in turn pushes hot water to out let. In this way only hot water is released out and the loss of

temperature is eliminated. The complete hot water of the geyser is used up and only left over is the water of the dead storage which is

about 20% of the total capacity. So in comparison with conventional electric geyser about 80% more hot water can be obtained and

energy consumption comes down by about 60% of the total regular consumption. This innovative simple step leads to huge saving in

    power in all the seasons.

    (57) Abstract :

Consumption of power during peak hours increases load demand and hence affects power quality. The device Smart Energy Meter

with Advanced Billing System would insist consumers to consume power during off-peak hours by providing incentives and thereby

help to achieve a uniform load curve. This is implemented by time-of-day billing also known as variable billing scheme in which

consumers would be charged a higher tariff for power consumption during peak hours. Peak hour for an area may vary with seasons

and hence we may need to update the default peak hour set in the consumer side set-up frequently. Also the tariff may change after a

few years. For these reasons it uses Wireless Peak-Hour Timing
