Section 2 has been discontinued and instead The Official Journal of the Patent Office is being published

containing all the activities of The Patent Office such as publication of all the patent applications after 18 th

months , grant of patents & all other information in respect of the proceedings as required under the provisions

of the Patents (Amendment) Act, 2005 and Rules thereunder on weekly basis on every Friday.

The Journal is uploaded in the website every Friday. So Paper form and CD-ROM form of the Journal are

discontinued from 01/01/2009.

Every effort is being taken to publish all the patent applications under section 11(A) of the Patents Act.

However, if duplication of publication of any application is found, then earlier date of publication will be taken

for the purpose of provisional protection for applicant and Patent Office will grant Patent not before six months

In this novel flash chamberconcept, the liquid and vapor is separated before entering the evaporator which results in improvement of the coefficient ofperformance of the I system. It is an innovative approach to improve the COP, thereby reduction in electricity consumption and hence improvement incarbon reduction, i.e., the energy saved is energy produced. The study has shown that such a system is techno-economical withpayback period less than 1 year.

(57) Abstract :The hydrogen sorption characteristics of Magnesium Hydride (MgH2) have been performed with a leached Al-Cu-Fe quasicrystal (ascast and mechanically activated) for the first time. The ball-milled Al-Cu-Fe quasicrystal reveals excellent catalytic activity, afterleaching treatment. The onset desorption temperature of MgH2 catalyzed with leached mechanically activated Al-Cu-Fe quasicrystalhas reduced drastically to -2 1 O°C and faster rehydrogenation kinetics by absorbing -6 wt. % of H2 in just 30 seconds under 20 atmH2 pressure at 250°C. Dehydrogenation kinetics under latm H2 pressure is found to be -6.2 wt. % in -2.9 minutes. Novel reabsorptionupto 6 wt.% within 30 seconds at 250°C has been obtained. Improved rehydrogenation kinetics has been observed even at lowertemperatures of 100°Can d 150°C by absorbing - 5 wt. % in 30 minutes and 5.5 wt. % within 1 minute under the same condition of H2pressure. The activation energy has been found to be - 35.75 and 64.25 kJ mol- using Johnson-Mehl-Avrami model for absorption anddesorption respectively, whereas change in enthalpy in Vants Hoff plot has been found to be - 71.12 and 73.66 kJ mol-1.

The planetary systems areplaced in such a way that the ring gear of the first planetary gear system (3) will provide the rotational motion to the sun gear (5) ofthe second planetary gear system. In this system the function of the automotive clutch (cutting the engine drive from transmission) andtransfer of drive is carried out by the primary planetary gear system. The secondary planetary system will work for the mechanism ofEngine Retarder, Kinetic Energy Rescue System and Hybrid drive.

(57) Abstract :The present study has been focused on the extraction of natural dyes from Syzygium cumini (I..J Jambolan fruit dry seed endospermand investigation of their phytochemicals and pharmacological characteristics. Dyes were prepared using aqueous, acidic, alcoholicand alkaline extraction techniques. UV spectral studies of the dyes showed a variation in absorption maxima and their colour variedwith respect to the pH and the solvent used during extraction. The dye was prepared from Jambolan fruit dry seed endosperm showedgood antibacterial activity. The aqueous extraction of Jambolan fruit dry seed endosperm was able to inhibit the growth of manybacterial strains viz S. lutea, E.coli, P. aeruginosa, Pseudomonas fluorescens and S. aureus etc. The antimicrobial property of the dyeswas used in developing antimicrobial fabric.
