Welcome to the Listening component of OKTV.

The listening material is recorded on this CD, and the tasks and instructions are printed in

your test booklet.

There will be three tasks, and the recordings will be played twice. Before listening to each

recording, you will be given some time to read the instructions and to look at the task in your

test booklet. Remember that the instructions are not read out to you in this test.

Please note that the first item in each task, marked with a tick (�), is always an example.

The whole test is about 30 minutes long.

Why you need a paper diary in your life in 2019 How do you plan your life? New 0research shows that more of us are ditching our phone calendars in favour of proper

paper diaries. About time. Birthdays, meetings, appointments, holidays, nights out and many, many invitations for

coffee. For a lot of us, all of these activities 1will be entered into a brand new, clean-leafed paper diary.

A report from last year shows 2over half of us still prefers to use a paper diary not a digital calendar, while
