Oleg Kretsul was born in 1975.

He is a Paralympic judo

champion.He is three-times world

champion and two-times European judo champion. Oleg is the

champion of Russia. He is the honored Master

of sports.

In 1997 he was involved in an accident and

became totally blind.

In 2008 he won a gold medal at the Paralympics in Beijing.

"I strived for that medal. I dedicated it to the memory of my people and to those who helped me in my life but I am

not going to stop. Paralympics 2012 are ahead of me in

London. I 'll have a rest and then start preparing for the new

tournament"

He received  a serious injury at the London Olympics 2012 but could recoverand defended the title of theChampion of Russia.

We can be proud of himas a sportsman of judo,

but we areproud of him as a

Champion of Paralympic Games,because we understand his victories.
