Communication package FOOD & BEVERAGE VISION
Food & beverage industries are one oft he most growing user industries of machine vision technology. In 2016 the communication package FOOD & BEVERAGE VISION will be launched Irst time.
Specialized exhibitors who want to highlight their expertise in machine vision products for food & beverage industries can gain an attractive additional beneIt with FOOD & BEVERAGE VISIO. The communication package will allow you to address new attendees from the food & beve-rage sector.
VISION 2016 has contracted the leading magazine for the entire food inudstry, dei – die ernährungsindustrie, to produce an exclusive publication highlighting
food & beverage related procuts available at the show.
FOOD & BEVERAGE VISION (15,100 copies) is published in dei – die ernährungsindustrie and VISION focus, oUcial trade-fair newspaper for VISION, Stuttgart. VISION and dei – die ernährungsindustrie want tob e your key partners to address new customers from this speciIc industry.
FOOD & BEVERAGE VISION-Logo will highlight all participating compa-nies to give additional guidance to the attendees from the food & beve-rage industries and making their visit even more eWective.

„Die europäische Branche der In-
dustriellen Bildverarbeitung ist in
hervorragender Verfassung“, sagt
Donato Montanari, Vorstandsmit-
glied des VDMA Industrielle Bild-
verarbeitung. Laut dem Bran-
chenverband stieg 2013 der Um-
satz in diesem Bereich mit fast 10
% stärker als erwartet. Für 2014
geht der VDMA von einem weite-
ren Wachstum von 12 % aus.
Große Nachfrage gibt es unter an-
derem nach Kompaktsystemen
wie etwa Vision-Sensoren. Bei
diesen Systemen zeigt sich ein
Trend, der für die gesamte Bild-
verarbeitung gilt: Die Lösungen
lassen sich zunehmend einfacher
bedienen. „Je komplexer die
Technologie, desto einfacher die
Handhabung“, sagt etwa Enis Er-
sü, CEO von Isra Vision.
Damit erschließen sie sich auch
neue Einsatzfelder. Nicht-indus-
trielle Anwendungen für die Bild-
verarbeitung verzeichneten im
vergangenen Jahr mit 19 % den
größten Wachstumssprung. Der
größte Impuls ging dabei von den
intelligenten Verkehrssystemen
und der Medizintechnik aus. Die
Nachfrage nach nicht-industriel-
len Anwendungen wird laut
VDMA weiter wachsen – und
stärker sogar als die im Fer-
tigungssektor.
Doch auch in diesem Bereich gibt
es noch viel Potenzial für die Bild-
verarbeitung, etwa durch Indus-
timates further growth of around
12 % for 2014.
Among other things, there’s a hu-
ge demand for compact systems
such as vision sensors. With the-
se systems, a trend is becoming
established that also applies to
the entire image-processing in-
dustry: solutions are becoming
easier to implement. “The more
complex the technology, the ea-
sier it is to use”, reckons Enis Er-
sü, CEO of Isra Vision.
This is enabling new application
fields to be exploited. Last year,
non-industrial image-processing
applications experienced its lar-
gest ever growth leap of 19 %.
The main boost stems from intel-
ligent traffic systems and medical
technology. According to VDMA,
the demand for non-industrial ap-
plications will continue to grow –
even faster than in the manu-
facturing sector.
However, even in this area, there
are still huge potentials for image
processing, such as with Industrie
4.0. The major use of image-pro-
cessing technologies in tomor-
row’s manufacturing systems
pursuing the idea of Industrie 4.0
would be unavoidable, reckons
Ronald Müller, head of product
marketing at Framos. That’s be-
cause no other sensors offer such
high levels of flexibility and auto-
nomy from other machines and
complete production lines.

gen, die der Idee der Industrie 4.0
folgen, kämen nicht daran vorbei,
im großen Stil Bildverarbeitungs-
technologien anzuwenden, meint

“The European industrial image-
processing sector is in excellent
shape”, reports Donato Montana-
ri, member of the executive com-
mittee of VDMA Industrial Machi-
ne Vision. According to the indus-
trial association, turnover in the
trade rose by almost 10 % more
than expected in 2013. VDMA es-

Die Bildverarbeitung dringt im-
mer stärker in nicht-industrielle
Anwendungsfelder wie in den Be-
reich Transport und Verkehr vor.
Deshalb gibt es auf der Vision in
diesem Jahr erstmals den The-
menschwerpunkt Traffic Vision.
In dessen Rahmen sind eine Reihe
von Veranstaltungen geplant, die
sich direkt an Besucher aus dem
Verkehrsbereich richten. „Der

der Traffic Vision Tour 20 Ausstel-
