Dear artists, educators, and members of the Oron Zai, Space association!

Starting from this academic year, we changed our name to the School of Art and Design. To 21st century citizens of today, art and design are things which are part of everyday life, and have been broadening its scope through new technics and technolo-gies. This century we are living in is challenging us for new space and new art world. Our artworks will be glorious as we accept this challenge. In this time Space Exhibition of 2014, we present many of nice works by our faculty members and from those artworks we can see how Mongolian traditional culture and art co-exist with modern art. This is the natural law that yesterday was today and today is tomorrow. But the most importantly, tomorrow is our future. Therefore, I have no doubt that you will continue creating new and the best works.

May the Spirit of art bless all of you!

Uranchimeg D., PhD.

Dean, School of Fine Arts and Design, the Mongolian State University of Arts and Culture

On this teacher’s day, I wish you the best success in your further artworks with the messagefirstdirectorofthisschool,ourbelovedteacherAmgalanD.usedtotellevery-body because many of us haven’t forgot and as well as many of us haven’t heard of it. Three values a painter must emphasize the most are 1st creativity, 2nd punctuality, and 3rd patience.
