Réamhrá an Ardmhéara Tá an-áthas orm an réamhrá seo a chur le leabhrán na Féile i mbliana. Táim féin agus baill den Chomhairle ag súil go mór le cheiliúradh a dhéanamh ar Lá Fhéile Pádraig, agus ar chultúr agus teanga na hÉireann. This year’s festival promises to build on the successes of previous years and will be a family-oriented riot of colour, music and activity. It is a celebration of Irish and Irishness to be enjoyed by citizens and visitors alike and reinforces our reputation as “Ireland of the welcomes”. I know there will be more than enough variety in this extensive programme to suit all tastes. I’d like to thank our generous sponsors Cork Airport and Barry’s Tea and wish all of you an enjoyable festival.
