Th e Radiant Store Inc-Providing Aff ordable Solar EnergyPresident: Terry Moag

www.theradiantstoreinc.com10 Hermes RoadSaratoga Tech and Energy ParkMalta, NY 120201-888-767-5309

Th e big surprise about solar energy is that it is no longer as expensive as it was in the past. According to Terry Moag, owner of Th e Radiant Store, the average cost of a 2-panel solar energy system is as little as $2,250, after NYSERDA and F ederal Tax credits, and there is low-interest fi nancing available.

In 2005, the Radiant S tore was launched when Terry decided to bring the relatively new technology of solar thermal to the area. Th e business has expanded quickly b y specializing in the installation of renewable power, thermal solar hot water systems, integrated solar and hydronic, and radiant heating systems.

Terry Moag is part philosopher, part intellectual and part entrepreneur, with a desire to make a diff erence on a local lev el. Terry attributes some of his success as a small business owner to growing up in the rural community of Wyoming, New York. After college, he worked in the heating and cooling industry for seventeen years before branching out on his own with Th e Radiant Store.

Terrys business philosophy emphasizes a commitment to investing in his company through state-of-the-art, German or Dutch engineered equipment and the continual training of his emplo yees. Terry says he looks for people with intelligence and an excellent work ethic, and the rest can be taught. His employees are certifi ed installers through NYSERDA.

Terry wants his customers to hav e a str ess-free experience. Th e Radiant Store acts as a kind of general contractor for the solar energy installation process so that individual consumers do not have to wade through the red tape of tax cr edits and fi nancing. Th e fi rst step is an energy audit by trained, certifi ed professionals who will provide a solution that is tailored to the needs of each home. It is that personal ser vice that gives Th e Radiant Store its edge. For more information about ho w to fi nance your next solar energy project, visit http://theradiantstore.w o r d p r e s s .com/2011/05/23/lets-talk-money/
