of the oldest symphony orchestras on Florida’s Gulf Coast—can continue to provide World-Class Music in
Paradise and beyond. Your donation supports the symphony’s mission of artistic excellence, vibrant
programming and innovative educational and community outreach programs. The symphony’s success today

Some say life is a picnic. This past year, when the world was challenged by Covid-19,
such a simile did not seem applicable. We spent so many hours in the isolation of our
own homes, separated from our family and Society friends. Furthermore, we had to
conclude our season without hearing the final programs, which was indeed
disappointing.
It’s a new year. Even though there are still challenges, let’s try to make life a picnic this
year while raising funds for our beloved Southwest Florida Symphony. All funds
collected from these events help to support it. Life without music certainly would not
be a picnic.
With fun events like: enjoying a glass of wine while learning to prepare dishes
incorporating bourbon, birding and watching dolphins jump during an adventurous boat
cruise in paradise, eating homemade traditional French dinners that make you feel like
you're in Paris, feeding flamingos while visiting the Everglades Wonder Gardens, and the
lovely Sunday brunches, why wouldn't you join the Society?
These are just some of the exciting events plans for the new year, become a member
and learn more!
