Process: I cropped the background picture to 8.5 X 11.I then used the quick selectiontool to crop the couple out of the photo that they were in.On a separate tabI used the lasso tool in photoshop to cut out the parts of the temple that Iwanted and then added it to the background image.I then added a mask tothe temple image and began using the black paint at 100 percent opacity toget rid of the extras I didn t want on the photo and to paint the temple tofade into the background picture.I repeated the previous steps with the photoof the flowers at the bottom. I then added some text using only one font butaligning it in different ways to add rhythm.

Flier

Process: I started with the sketch process and came up with a few ideas I liked. I then began put-ting my ideas down using InDesign. I was provided with photos and text for this project,so I decided to use a picture of a man standing vertically to create asymmetry with thewords flowing horizontally. I then added transparency to the photo to add more of avariety of color as well as white space: I did this by using the gradient feather effect inInDesign. With the text, I used align left to create rhythm and alignment. I also wanted tocatch the eye of graduates specifically so I made Graduates larger than the rest of thetext.

Web Page

Process: I used text wrangler to put together and html using all of the required tags suchas . I also changed all of the colors and fonts in the web page using aCSS that was linked to the HTML. I used the HTML validator to make sure everythingwas looking the way I wanted. I then used photoshop color picker to identify thecolors I was using.

Brochure

Process:I used photo shop to cut out the picture at the bottom of the page on theinside of my design. I then used illustrator to create a brand new logo for LuluLemon. I put all of my photos and layout together in Indesign.

Event Ad

Process: I scanned my photo onto the computer, then downloaded it on to Microsoft Word. Iwanted to keep my ad simple because the image alone speaks very loudly. I madethe alignment of the body text align right. I then put the titles on different sides ofthe page to create asymmetry.

Process:I used a DSLR camera to take a photo of a young man working out. I uploaded thephoto to photoshop and adjusted the hue/saturation, the levels, cut out the imagefrom its background and sharpened the image. I then added text to layer over the topof the image. I used a monochromatic color scheme to make it look professional andput together.

Description: I wanted to make an appealing poster for young athletes who are training to be thebest they can be.
