Final I&T

At Palomar, August through December 2010– Align P3K relay (optical bench IPT)– Integrate DM electronics, motor controllers

• Includes testing racks at Cass.

– Integrate RTC– Verify all basic system functions

• Includes installation/removal

– Characterize performance in lab (PHARO & P1640)– Document it all!

Commissioning

Commissioning Plan– Requesting 12 nights (4 x 3 nights) for

commissioning in semester 2011A (Feb.-July 2011).– Expect entire team to participate in most of these!– 10 work-months of labor budgeted.

Optimization Phase– Planning a 6-month period post-commissioning to

fully characterize and optimize system performance.
