PAMAS AS3 Autosampling systemfor almost every applicationThefullyautomatedPAMAS AS3 autosampling system ana-lyseshighquantitiesofsamples.Thisnewsystemisdesignedtoprovidesampleanalysisofseveralhundredsamplesperday,withunattendedoperation.Thesystemoffersamultitudeoffea-turesregardingsampleprepara-tion,samplehandling,flushingandsampledilution.

Sample preparationThePAMAS AS3 system inclu-desasamplepreparationprobethatbreaksallagglomeratesinthefluidbeforeanalysis.Theultrasonic probe prepares the subsequentsamplewhilstthecurrentsampleisbeinganalysed.Thesamplepreparationdeviceiscleanedbetweensamplestominimise cross contamination.Sample handlingThenewsystemhasaXYZstage,operating with samples on trays asthesearethemostwidelyusedmethodinhighquantitylabo-ratories.RFID(RadioFrequencyIdentification)orbarcodesystemscanbeusedoptionallytoauto-maticallyidentifythetrays.Thesystemisservomotordriven.Thisincreasesthespeedofoperationandreducesthenoiselevelbelowthat of stepper motors.

Seamless integration to lIM systemThesystemcanbelinkedtoanexistingLIM(LaboratoryInforma-tionManagement)system.IftheexistingLIMsystemcanforwardsampleIDsbasedontraynumberandx/ypositionwithinthetray,noindividualsampleidentificati-onprocedureisnecessary.IfthesamplescarryRFIDorbarcodelabels,samplescanbeidentifiedwithanattachedreader(optio-nal).
