Poiché proteggeva i vegetali
state attribuite per molto tempo qualità protettrici e curative:

The Amber, a fossil resin of a yellow-gold colour sometimes
with orange shades, has been appreciated for its beauty and
mystery since ancient times. Its inclusions and preservation of
insects and plants have always generated fascination and cau-
sed its reputation to preserve man, too. Therefore, it is said to
be protective and curative; often it is pulverized or burnt for its
fragrance. A wide-spread superstition attributes to the Amber
the power to cure headache or to protect from nightmares.

sfumature rossastre causate dall’agata
Già nell’antichità all’agata si

Botswana Agate is a translucent, cryptocrystalline variety of
quartz that exhibits reddish hues caused by the included car-
nelian agate. It is found exclusively in Botswana and, as all
agates, forms a sub-variety of chalcedony. Its chemical struc-
ture is identical to Jasper, Flint or Tiger’s Eye. Agates are of-
ten found in association with Opal and, therefore, coexist with
layers or masses of opal, jasper or crystalline quartz due to
ambient conditions during the formation process. According
to ancient traditions, this precious stone protects against the
biting of scorpions or serpents, soothes the mind, drives away
contagion and puts a stop to thunder and lightning. It is also
said to dispose the wearer of solitude, promote eloquence
and secure the favours of princes. It gives victory over enemies
to those who wear it.

fetto protettivo sugli occhi e contro ogni tipo

The Tiger’s Eye is a limonite containing quartz which produ-
ces typical yellow reflections which make this crystal similar to
the eyes of a tiger. It is an ancient believe that the Tiger’s Eye
defends eyesight and protects against sortileges and sorcery.
In India mothers used to put a few crystals into their sons’
pockets in order to protect them from any risk and peril. In
moments of stress and difficulties, it is said to give tranquillity
and self-confidence.

opale realizzata tramite resine particolari nelle
Opalite is as well often referred to as Moonstone Quartz, Opa-
lized Quartz, Gerisol, Lunar Quartz or Sea Opal. It is also a
name for precious opal imitations made mainly of particular
resins in which the play-of-colour is simulated through the in-
clusions of a variety of materials. It has a milky colour with a
distinct blue fire tone. Held against a white background, it has
a yellowish tinge. Powdered Opalite may be used as a compo-
nent for the production of precious glasses reproducing and si-
mulating the refraction of light typical of precious and, therefo-
re, extremely expensive opal stones. Some gemstone dealers
mistakenly call natural opals with no play of colour ‘Opalite’.
While glass stones like Goldstone or Cherry Quartz carry the
physical (and sometimes health) properties of natural glasses
such as pure Quartz, Opalite has no known healing properties.

a yellowish tinge.

‘a’ (anti) e da ‘methyein’ (ubriaco) o ’methy ’
(vino).

ble for its depth. The word “amethyst” derives from the Greek
‘amethystos’, thus, from ‘a’ (anti) plus ‘methyein’ (to be drunk)
or ’methy ’ (wine). This stone is purported to calm the mind,
to enhance meditation or dream state and to relax the body.

Poiché proteggeva i vegetali
state attribuite per molto tempo qualità protettrici e curative:
L’ambra

Nell’India e nell’antico Egitto si usava l’acquamarina
per farne degli amuleti. I greci raccontavano che
queste gemme acquatiche erano state sottratte
depositati sulle rive abitate dagli uomini.
L’acquamari-

marine was often used in amulets; the Grecians narrated that
these aquatic gems had been taken by the Hippocampi from
the Nympha’s treasures for being later on deposited along the

Poiché proteggeva i vegetali
state attribuite per molto tempo qualità protettrici e curative:
Durezza:2,5-3
Origine:Mar Baltico, Santo Domingo.
The Amber, a fossil resin of a yellow-gold colour sometimes
with orange shades, has been appreciated for its beauty and
mystery since ancient times. Its inclusions and preservation of
insects and plants have always generated fascination and cau-
sed its reputation to preserve man, too. Therefore, it is said to
be protective and curative; often it is pulverized or burnt for its
fragrance. A wide-spread superstition attributes to the Amber
the power to cure headache or to protect from nightmares.

fetto protettivo sugli occhi e contro ogni tipo

The Tiger’s Eye is a limonite containing quartz which produ-
ces typical yellow reflections which make this crystal similar to
the eyes of a tiger. It is an ancient believe that the Tiger’s Eye
defends eyesight and protects against sortileges and sorcery.
In India mothers used to put a few crystals into their sons’
pockets in order to protect them from any risk and peril. In
moments of stress and difficulties, it is said to give tranquillity
and self-confidence.
