WHAT I USED TO SEE IT

Grefas ClubJapanese prestigious and expensive cosmetic brandwith facial spa in the store.

Grefas seems to be unsalable since, believe it or not, I’ve neverseen any customer in the shopEVER!! Also, I feel that this shop looks like an old and lonely japanese lady.

Beauty CottageThai popular cosmetic brand whose products come in cheap price with facial spa in store, too

There are always customers in Beauty Cottage (most of them are young high school girls or college students) so, to me, this shop is an opposite side of Grefas Club.

Grefas Club : Cute office ladyIt turns out that that old lonely lady is notthat old and not lonely at all!

Now that I look at Grefas club closely, I found that there are a lot of regular customer but they often having facial treatment in the spa behind.

Beauty Cottage : A wannabeIt’s just the cheap price that makethis shop become popular. Everythingelse is just poor, especially the operation standard.

As you can see from the image above, the staff ATE FRIED CHICKEN IN A TREATMENT ROOM!

WHAT I USED TO SEE IT

IcedeaThai “creative” ice cream shop.They design many distinct flavor and presentation of ice cream.

Since Icedea comes in low price and interesting appearance, most fun-loving teenagers in thailand are talking about this new shop.

Cold Stone creameryCold Stone looks like our 30-something uncle who likesto go to (dull) party all the time.

Because of the high price...most Thais never try to “mix-in” with him.

IcedeaLook at the messy kitchen above.Icedea shop is not that cool to me.No! they not only show me a poorly-organized kitchen, the staff is talking their stuff so loud that customers complaint.

Now, this shop is like an upset kid

Cold Stone creameryOur uncle is cooler and funnier than I think! He likes to sing. He likes to dance.

Besidesit worth every penny tomeet him (and all his mix-ins)

Chaps Thai High-street clothing brandwith a F**k-yaeh-i’m-a-rock-star kind of guy.

Status : Super cool but not a very popular brand because of high price.

GapAn all-american clothing shop that offers casual wearable designto all the normals around the world.

Status : Too simple to be notice, both the design and sales volume.

Chaps And yes, Chaps guy is a rockstar and he can maintain his standard well. But there’s one thing he can improve-he is not very friendly to his customer.

Or I’m wrong that I expect friendliness from a rockstar....

GapYes, this Gap guy is normal but he’s not boring normal-he is friendlynormal!

Plus, he is a very happy person.

I NOTICE THAT

Have better operation standard= better service + better store management system

Have stronger brand characteristic= clearer communication + stronger approach to target customer

Cheaper= more sales volume + more customer traffic
