Dear Miss Swenson:
My name is Peter Weber and while learning about the expansive opportunities offered at Wells Fargo I
discovered the title of branch manager available in your AU. This opportunity really grabbed my
attention in the fact that a position as a team leader has always been an interest of mine as a career
goal. Realizing Wells Fargos many paths and options for a career has really shown what a rare
commodity it holds for its employees. Knowing that Wells Fargo is one of the top five banks in the
entire world, I feel a position as a manager at your branch would be very prestigious and rewarding.
With Banker Connection experience in my skill set, I feel I can guide a team of workers through bankingrules and regulations while using my customer service experience to develop a work environment that is
efficient and progressively working for the customer.
To gain an understanding of the major techniques of great customer service through efficient
techniques and practices, I have worked as a head supervisor at a food retailer. I would take into
account the customers needs and see to it that my fellow employees followed suit. By using systematic
procedures and working as a cohesive element, I learned many ways to keep the customers morale and
patience at a premium.
After working face to face with customers, I expanded my spectrum into the banking world by becoming
a Customer Service Representative with Banker Connection at Wells Fargo. To expand not only my ownknowledge in banking, I wanted to see how I could help thousands of tellers, bankers, and managers
throughout the nation. While not working directly with our customers, I learned an important fact that
fellow employees work through each other to affect what exactly our customers feel and need.
Although I never see the customers I directly help, I rely on those team members in the individual
branches to carry out what I relay to them. Again, this strongly displays that teamwork is a must and
reinforces the Wells Fargo motto, Together, well go far.
I know you realize that a letter and resume can only share a few basic commodities of an individuals
skill set and career goals, but I will contact your branch assistant next week to speak about the
possibilities of a scheduled interview. I look forward to a chance at meeting one another so we can
converse about my additional qualifications in more detail.
Sincerely,
Peter Weber
