フルギアを利用して全ての方向に精密な操作ができるように設計され、接写や望遠レンズ撮影に卓越した性能を発揮するマルチフレックス・ヘッドは、一般的なボールヘッドのボールとボールを支えるパッドの摩擦力を利用した方式で重い装備を使用する場合に締結力が落ちるという欠点が補強され、真鍮で製作された精密なギア方式を採択して完璧な締結力を持っており、また、前後左右、各々の操作ノブ上にテンション･コントロールダイアルを置いて、重さのためにギアがすべり落ちるのを防ぎ、ヘッドをどの角度に操作しても、カメラとレンズがいつもヘッドと三脚の中心軸に位置するように設計されていて、安定性に優れている。
