Welcome to the first ever PSAY Events Guide for 2012 - a publication prompted by the fact that we have a busy year of great events planned.

The old faithfuls are in there: Home Farm Fest and another charity cycle challenge - this year ‘s expedition, a 10 day Tour of Ireland. Day Ride returns in April, with a ride that takes us to the Somerset north shore of Burnham on Sea and the year is kicked off by a double bill music gig at the Quicksilver Mail (see left).

In May, we will host the first ever trek challenge with participants taking on the iconic 3 Peaks in Scotland, England and Wales over 3 days - places filled up very quickly but there are still 2 available.

The biggest addition to the calendar is the introduction of School in a Bag Awareness Week in April (see page 4). We have a whole host of events and fun planned and we are encouraging schools, clubs, individuals and businesses to get involved and join in to help us raise funds and the profile of School in a Bag.

So, get your diaries out and we hope to see you regularly throughout the year :)

SCHOOL in a BAG AWARENESS WEEK: April 16-22

Ta k e y o u r n o r m a l pampered chef night with a rep around a house selling kitchen goodies and add in a bi t of competition in the form of Ready, Steady, Cook with 4 game con tes tan ts showing off the prowess of themselves, the i r kitchen ability and the Pampered Chef range and you have what we think will be a fun night!

Aim: To launch the rebrand of School in a Bag. To raise the awareness and profile of the new brand. To raise funds during the Awareness Week. To get individuals, schools, clubs and businesses involved in fundraising and supporting the School in a Bag cause. Join in our events or organise your own to find out how many SchoolBags you could fund to give the Gift of Hope to children.
