Pinakbet (Vegetable Medley) Pinakbet is a vegetable medley usually compose of kalabasa, ampalaya, talong, okra and sitaw, with pork and shrimp,cooked in bagoong. It is an Ilocano original adopted by different regions with different variations. This recipe is a typical Ilonggo Pinakbet, simply delicious and rice demanding viand. Try this and prepare to have a heavy meal today. Ingredients: 1/4 lb. Pork, sliced 10 – 12 pcs. medium shrimps, with head on and peeled 1/4 medium kalabasa (squash), peeled and sliced 1 small pack okra 1 medium talong (eggplant), sliced 1 medium ampalaya (bitter melon), sliced 12-15 pcs. sitaw (string beans), cut about 2-3 inches long 5 tbsps. bagoong (shrimp paste) 3 cloves garlic, minced 1/2 cup red onions, sliced 3 tbsps. ginger, sliced thin 1 red tomato, sliced 1 pc. pork flavored bouillon 2 cups water salt and pepper to taste Cooking Directions: 1. Sauté in order garlic, onions, ginger and tomato. Add beef and continue to sauté until light brown. Add shrimp and continue to sauté until pink. Add shrimp paste.

Cook in medium low fire until vegetables are cooked. Add salt and pepper to taste. Do not overcook vegetables.5. Serve hot with rice.

BEEF GINILING with MIX VEGETABLES

Mga Sangkap:1 kilo Beef Giniling1/2 kilo Mix Vegetables (Corn, carrots, green peas)1/2 bar Butter1/2 cup Soy Sauce1 head minced Garlic2 pcs. large Onion (chopped)1 tsp. Ground Black Pepper1 tsp. Maggie Magic Sarap (optional) Salt to taste

Paraan ng pagluluto:1.   Sa isang kawali, igisa ang bawang at sibuyas sa butter.    Halu-haluin.2.   Isunod na agad ang giniling na baboy at timplahan ng asin at paminta.   Halu-haluin.3.   Ilagay ang toyo at maggie magic sarap.   Tikman ang sauce at i-adjust ang lasa.4.   Huling ilagay ang mix vegetables.   Halu-haluin at hayaan ng mga 3 minuto.

CHICKEN LIVER and EGGS in CREAM

Mga Sangkap:1kilo grams Chicken Liver (cut into bite size pieces)

36 pcs eggs 3 cups All Purpose Cream5 cloves Minced Garlic

¼ kl potatoes small cube

Minced Carrots1 large Onion (chopped)3 tbsp. Melted Butter1/2 tsp. Maggie Magic SarapSalt and pepper to tasteParaan ng pagluluto:

1. Ilaga ang mga itlog at balatan, hatiin sa apat1.   Sa isang kawali, igisa ang bawang at sibuyas sa mantika.2.Ilagay na ang atay ng manok at lagyan ng 2 cups na tubig o chicken stocks.   Takpan at hayaang maluto ang atay.4.   Kung luto na ang atay, ilagay na ang itlog at cred bell pepper.   Halu-haluin at hayaan ng 1 minuto.5.   Huling ilagay ang all purpose flour upang maging malabot konti ang sabaw.   Haluin. 6.   Timplahan ng maggie magic sarap at tikman ang sauce kung okay na.   I-adjust ang lasa kung kinakailangan.
