MORGAN STREET BRIDGE PROJECT



Morgan Street Bridge Project

The bridge is very important to the entire south side of the city of Rockford.

It not only connects one side of the river to the other, but it connects neighborhoods, it gives us a very important transit point for commerce, and culturally, it connects neighborhoods that have been connected for a long time.

It will ultimately open up some significant recreational property in and around the river adjacent to the bridge.

This will give people the ability to experience the Rock River in an area of the city they have not previously been able to do for the last hundred years.
