HOW How many toilets, bathrooms andkitchens do you need?

    WHODiscuss plans continuously with

other people involved (stakeholders)e.g. House owner, site supervisor etc.

    Discuss cost of project.

WHAT What type of fittings do you need?E.g. Type of seat for toiletTake detailed measurements of site

    and draw blue print

    WHEREDecide where to install fittings,

    positions of pipes and connections

Total up total pipe and fittings needed andcalculate cost of project by finalising a budget.

    Then buy the materials

Decide and measure:a) Supply water route from tank/direct supply

    line to house and

    b) Route for wastewater to go to septic tank

Set schedule for pipe cutting to avoid wastage

and to maximise the utility of pipe lengths.

Set schedule for when each task will be done

and when it will be finished. Combine all

tasks into one document and stick to

deadlines if possible. Edit the schedule

when it is appropriate/there are delays.
