The family run hotel in the seaside resort of 

Aldeburgh has 35 ensuite bedrooms, all with

period windows, and dates back to the 1830s.

Proprietor, Michael Pritt, said he has been calling

on Ventrolla East Anglia each time a new part of 

the hotel is renovated.

He said: “We first worked together in 2003 and

now every time we upgrade a bedroom or public

room we ask Ventrolla to assist with the windows.

The results are fantastic and allow us to retain the

period looks of the building with no compromise

on functionality.” 

Windows at the hotel have been upgraded using

the Ventrolla Perimeter Sealing System (VPSS),

which virtually eliminates draughts, offers good

energy retention and ensures sashes slide

efficiently and are properly balanced.

It’s also proved extremely effective at taming

the fierce winds that regularly batter the

hotel building.

Suffolk, to help refurbish a number of its bedrooms.

family and became a hotel in 1900. Michael’s

grandfather George Pritt acquired the business in

1920, with Michael taking over in 1975.
