    1909 : Eugne Schueller created the Socit Franaise des teintures

    inoffensives pour cheveux, lOral.

    1928 : International expansion with purchase of Monsavon.

    1931 : LOreal becomes the pionner of advertising.

    1938 : Development of a redistribution policy : the proportionalsalary, and the society takes finally the name lOreal.
