Responsibilities includes extraction of parameters like 3541_B, 3541_B_LL, 8015-DRO, OK-DRO, OIL & GREASE, TX 1005, PEST, PCB’S, HERBICIDES & MA-EPH, TCLP, SPLP, 1311 ZHE.
Preparation of necessary standards and reagents for the test. Maintaining of laboratory logbook and recording of test results.
INSTRUMENTATION: SOXHLET, MICROWAVE.
SEMI-VOLATILE DEPT:
GC ANALYST: FEB 2015-JAN 2016

methods, USP, CP, EP & JP methods as well in accordance with FCC. Assay by titration on various compounds include magnesium chloride as per Food Chemical
Codex, Carnauba wax, Candelilla wax, Potassium bromide and Potassium Nitrate. Impurity Determination of Heavy metals, Arsenic and Lead by acid- base digestion
procedure and analyze them by color comparison test as well as through Atomic Absorption Spectrophotometer.
Identification Test for Wax samples through FTIR & Thin Layer Chromatography as per European Pharmacopoeia and various metals through chemical testing.
Gravimetric Analysis includes Zirconium Content, Phosphorous in Tri & Di Calcium Phosphate, Loss on Drying, Residue on ignition, and % Moisture.
Physical Testing includes Melting point, Specific Gravity, Flash point, Specific rotation. Environmental Testing includes Total phosphorous and Oil & grease on various matrices. Analyzing proficiency samples on various tests for QC check. Preparation of necessary standards and reagents for the test.
