! This has led to a new type of niche tourism which is growing steadily. The reasons for this steady growth are due to the high cost of care in the wealthy areas of the world, long waiting lists, the appearance of low cost airlines and favorable exchange rates.

! In fact, it is motivated by the need to find medium priced quality care for certain types of treatment. Dental care is the most common but the trend includes other kinds of surgery even of a rather complex nature.
