    ITC works with local and regionalinstitutions and business

    T4SD Global Database

    The T4SD Global Database contains 700+ data fields covering the scope of each

    standard / code (product/sector, country/region), their specific requirements, the

    verification/audit processes, etc.

    As of October 15th, 2011: 62 participating organizations (BRC Global Standards,

    IFS, GlobalG.A.P., Food Alliance, SQF, MSC, BAP, CanadaG.A.P. etc.)

    Strict Data Quality Protocols1. Information is entered in T4SD Global Database by

    ITC staff;

    2. Each participating organization has access to the

    database to review/quality control/update its data;3. Final review and sign-off on the data;

    4. Regular updates and maintenance of Database.

    Participation guidelinesParticipation is free of charge for all standards organizations that:

    (i)Have developed a set of criteria & indicators (code/protocol);

    (ii)Address sustainability issues (social / environmental / economic dev.);

    (iii)Have an implementation system that is fully operational (audit process inplace).

    Ownership of data, updates & maintenanceT4SD Database operates as a central repository of information;

    Ownership of the data remains with each organization;

    Data entry is made by ITC staff in close collaboration with each organization;

    Updates and modifications can be made at any time.

    Standards Map: what is there for you?Interactive web-tool to identify standards based on specificfilters (region/country and/or product; scope of requirements, type

    of certification, etc.);Detailed customized analysis of standards (requirements, costestimates, mutual recognition of certification schemes, etc.);

    process;Training materials and booklets developed by each standardscheme;

    Standards covering not only food safety issues but also quality,
