THE NEW MADE EXPO OUTLOOK

For the next edition, a free-membership

observatory has been launched through

which companies, mediapartners,

technical press, opinion leaders,

associations may propose their content

about the four issues of the 2021 edition

EVENTS 2021.The place to build - the future is now, represents the evolution of the BSmart! format, already proposed in the 2019 edition. It will

be a 600 m2 double-arena entirely dedicated to the 4 main themes of the new 2021 edition (Technology & Digital - Climate Effect -

Resources & Recycling - Next Living) with the aim of looking to the future and planning the restart by interpreting the evolution of

the construction world towards new scenarios and suggestions. The program includes over 25 meetings that will cover the main

themes through open discussions and debates. In this format, there will be an international comparison through the involvement of

at least expert speakers on the values of energy saving, efficiency, ethics and new living models. Language: Italian

FORUM HOLZBAU, founded 25 years ago, is an international platform of the Universities of Helsinki, Munich, Rosenheim, Biel /

Bern, Vienna and Prince George (Canada) which aims to spread and promote the culture of building in wood. Italy is a market of

primary importance for wooden construction: currently growing fast, it is reaching a top position in the European context. The

concepts closely related to the use of this material in construction are increasingly central: lightness, energy efficiency, seismic

safety, comfort, sustainability and respect for the environment. The format of the conference, which is held annually in various

European cities, is proposed again during MADE expo, with two days of meeting and with the involvement of international

architects as speakers specialized in the construction technique and the physics of building in wood. Language: Italian/English

About twenty European design studios will present, through a cycle of workshops lasting 40 minutes each, the state of the art of

outdoor and housing design in residential, commercial and international hospitality. In an area dedicated to them and animated by

multimedia supports. The projects presented, selected by an expert curator, will show the most original and innovative solutions in

the field of integration of darkening and sun protection systems. The event also represents an opportunity for relationships

between exhibitors and international players who will guarantee their availability for B2B meetings. Language: Italian/English

MADE awards

A competition aimed at rewarding the exhibiting companies that will take part to the 10 categories

proposed (technological innovation, sustainability, design to name a few) with their product,

During MADE 2021, on the day of Thursday 18 March, the winners will be announced through an

awards ceremony also streamed on our social networks.

An evening dedicated to ICE delegates with an informal dinner, DJ set and the presence of ICE

representatives, companies, national and international press, to increase networking and the

overall communication impact.
