To configure the extension please go to admin panel -> System -> Configuration -> Previous/Next.
You can have any text for ‘Previous’ and ‘Next’ options, also you can use {product} and {price} variables. So to display something like ‘Nokia 8900 for $150’ instead of ‘Previous’ please indicate ‘{product} for {price}’ in ‘Previous Link Label’ field (the same can be done for ‘Next Link Label’ field).

Customers can get to a product page from category page, from search results page, from a product block (e.g. related products) or via direct link.

When customers get to a product page from category page, from a product block or via direct link, they will have an option to go to the category page. You can edit label or upload image for the option. If you use {category} variable for the label, the name of the category will be displayed.
When customers get to a product page from search results page, they will have an option to go back to the search results page. You can edit label or upload image for the option.

To show thumbnails of next and previous products on mouse overplease set ‘Show Thumbnail On Mouse Over’ setting to ‘Yes’.
If you turn this setting to ‘No’, navigation options will not be displayed for cases when a customer gets to a product page via direct link.

Here’s an example of the extension in action. We used {product} and {price} variables, so we can see the product name and price as the navigation option label.
Thumbnail image is displayed when mouse is over the navigation option label.
