Speaking is the delivery of language through the mouth and many parts
of our body, including the lungs, vocal tract, vocal chords, tongue, teeth
and lips.
Listening is the process of receiving language by ears as
messages to make respond by using mouth to another listener.
How to solve a problem in your class?
There are some processes:
Play a video or dialogue audio and students need to
identify the problem let them try to figure the
solution
During students working on groups, go around each
group and listen to them. Does everyone participant?
Ask open- end questions to let students wondering
and ask you more explanation
Try to let your students increase their observations
and creative skills.
Note:1. keep in your mind the goal of problem-solving are creating an environment that supports problem-solving and intent to engage students in the process.
2. Don’t worry about whether or not your studentsare solving all the problems correctly or completely. Are your students engaged? Are they all participating? Are they asking questions?

Teaching both standard and slang ways are necessary.
Students are facing many problems with their daily life. Students
should notice the popular slangs by the native speaker and explore
the meaning of words. During classroom period, a teacher should
explain some slangs to avoid students are not understanding. There
are two options for teachings slang for students. Firstly, teacher
knowledge. Secondly, using some sources such as books, websites,
or using technology in the classroom.
What activities would you use to teaching the conversation?
1. Speaking activities before and after listening to
the conversation.

C. What oral skills must a student possess in order to take part in a class and/or group discussion?
Students’ role interaction in class is very important. To participant
in class successfully, students need many things:
To prepare themselves for class, they read their textbook.
Writing notes about something they didn’t understand.
Learning new vocabularies that are related to the new chapter
Explain their ideas or perspective Asking questions in the classroom in cases they didn’t
understand some points They should feel confident in order to participant in class
whether individuals or in groups.
What phrases must they know?
• knowing the basic common phrases for communication skills.
• They should know how to ask by using “Wh” questions?
• Knowing some common American phrases or idioms.
How would you teach them these skills? These phrases?
• Using many Techniques to support teachings
such as videos, Google images, and Ted.com
• Provided some time by end of class for any

• Using handouts to help students for more
explanation and clarification.
