At Modulpac we put long experience into the

development of our products. First class plastic

closures and packaging solutions aimed at our four

main market segments – pharma/medtech, cosmetics,

the food industry and chemicals.

På Modulpac har vi ambitionen att vara ledande när

det gäller produktutveckling inom vår bransch.

Därför har vi satsat mycket på en egen konstruk-

tionsavdelning där vi tar fram såväl egna produkter

som kundunika lösningar efter dina önskemål.

Vi konstruerar produkter som är anpassade till ditt

produktionsflöde och som tillgodoser alla dina krav

på funktionalitet, design och specifika säkerhetsföre-

skrifter.

I kundunika projekt är vi gärna delaktiga i ett tidigt

skede för att säkerställa slutproduktens efterfrågade

kvalitet vad gäller design, funktion och material.

Aseptiskt täta förpackningar:

Modulpac har utvecklat ett kostnadseffektivt

patenterat förslutnings system som möjliggör

att vår kunds förpackning blir aseptiskt tät.

Syrepermeabiliteten blir så låg att en aseptiskt

fylld produkt klarar minst ett års förvaring i

rumstemperatur utan att den blir förstörd.

Aseptically sealed packaging:

Modulpac has developed a cost efficient patented

sealing system that enables our customers packaging

to stay aseptically sealed.

The low oxygen permeability keeps an aseptically

filled product fresh for at least one year when stored

in room temperature.

Produktutveckling

Under produktutvecklingens gång kan vi erbjuda dig

designprototyper från vår 3Dprinter, vi kan även ta

fram provverktyg och utvecklingsavdelningen förfogar

över två egna formsprutor där provkörningar och

tester sker.

Vi är certifierade enligt ISO 9001, 14001 och ISO

13485 samt godkända som leverantör till livsmedels-

och läkemedelsbranschen. Även vår produktutveck-

ling är certifierad enligt ISO 13485.

During the course of product development, we

can present design prototypes from our in-house

3D-printer, and we also can produce a test tool if

needed. R&D also have two own injection machines

where all testing are made.

We are ISO 9001, 14001 and 13485 certified, and

are also approved suppliers by the pharmaceutical

and food industries. Also our product development

are certified according to ISO13485.

Renrumsproduktion ISO klass 8 Vi strävar ständigt efter att förbättra verksamheten

för att överträffa de höga krav som ställs inom

läkemedel/medtech sektorn. Ett viktigt led i den

utvecklingen är vår toppmoderna renrumsanläggning

för formsprutning. Modulpac kan stolt presentera

en alldeles ny renrumsanläggning med den senaste

tekniken, bokstavligt införd uppifrån och ända ner, då

vi haft möjlighet att bygga renrummet från grunden

och den investeringen har satt oss i en framträdande

position.

At Modulpac we always strive to improve our

business in order to exceed the high demands set by

the Pharma/MedTech sector. One important part of

that development is our state of the art clean room

facility for injection molding, fitted with all latest

technology. The cleanroom has literally been design

from top down, when we had the advantage to build

it from scratch. We always aim forward and want

to out-perform the high demands within the sector

and this investment has placed us in a leading market

position.


Clean room production ISO class 8Renrummet är utrustat med den absolut senaste

tekniken och all tillverkning sker under strikt kontrol-

lerade former enligt ISO klass 8. 1 december 2016

slutförde vi även certifiering enligt ISO 13485 för

medicinsk utrustning. Renrummets storlek i kombi-

nation med den moderna utrustningen ger Modulpac

unika förutsättningar. Vi kan hantera stora volymer

och samtidigt leverera produkter av högsta kvalitet.

Modulpac AB är certifierad enligt ISO 13485 - inter-

nationellt erkänd kvalitetsstandard som anger kraven

i kvalitetsledningssystem för konstruktion och till-

verkning av medicintekniska produkter. Vårt arbete

The clean room is equipped with the latest tech-

nology and all manufacturing is carried out under

strictly controlled conditions in accordance with

ISO class 8. February 1 2016 we also implemented

ISO 13485 for medical devices. The size of the clean

room, combined with the modern equipment gives

Modulpac unique opportunities. We can handle large

volumes and still deliver top quality products.

Modulpac AB is certified accordning to ISO 13485

– an international quality standard that set out the

quality management system for the design and manu-

facture of medical devices.

I renrummet använder vi avancerad TLA-ventilation

av samma typ som finns installerad i de bästa opera-

tionssalarna på sjukhus världen över. TLA-metoden

används även för infektionskontroll och vid evidens-

baserad medicinsk behandling av astma. Precis som

vid traditionell deplacerande ventilation, använder

TLA konvektionsströmmar som förberedda metoder

för att föra bort värme och föroreningar från

oönskade ställen. TLA drar nytta av de naturliga

luftrörelserna i ett rum i stället för att motverka

dem. I vår drygt 1 000 kvadratmeter stora produk-

tionsanläggning ändras luftvolymen cirka 15–20

gånger i timmen och partiklar i tillförselluften

filtreras effektivt bort.

We are using advanced TLA ventilation in the clean

room, the same type used in the best surgical thea-

tres in hospitals worldwide. TLA is used as infection

control and also at evidence based medical asthma

treatment. The TLA method makes use of the natural

air movements in a room instead of working against

them. In our over 1.000 square meters facility the

air volume changes approximately 15–20 times every

hour. Supplied air is filtered and the particles in the

supplied air are effectively filtered away.

Ofta räcker en pålitlig standardlösning för att uppfylla

en kunds behov. Vi har ett brett utbud som täcker in

de flesta typer av förpackningar inom våra fyra mark-

nadssegment. Men ibland krävs det något extra för att

nå hela vägen fram, och det är då Modulpac verkligen

eller funktion så har vi kunskapen att ta fram en

produkt anpassad efter just dina önskemål.

Färg

Plast är ett transparent material. För att ge dina

produkter färg mixar vi råmaterialet med en färg-

blandning. Denna färgblandning måste vara noga

anpassad till plastsorten som används och till slutpro-

duktens egenskaper. Vi har ett antal olika standard-

färger i lager, men kan även ta fram färger anpassade

efter ditt företags grafiska profil eller logotyp. Vid

kundunika färger provkör vi produkten innan vi

påbörjar skarp produktion, så att du kan godkänna

färg, funktion och kvalitet.

Most of the time a reliable standard solution is

sufficient to meet a customer´s every need. We have a

wide product range covering most types of packaging

within our four market segments. But sometimes it

takes something extra to reach all the way, and that is

when Modulpac really stands out. Whether it be color,

shape or function, we have the know-how to develop

a product customised to your specific wishes.

Color

Plastic is a transparent material. In order to color

your products we mix the raw material and master-

batch. This masterbatch must be carefully fitted to

the plastics used and to the characteristics of the

final product. We keep a number of different standard

colors in stock, but can also produce colors custo-

mised to the visual identity of your company or your

logotype. In customised projects we always make test

runs before comencing live production, so you can

approve color, functionality and quality.

Profilering / Profiling

Profiling

In addition to give your product a unique look

in terms of shape and color, we can help you by

giving it a more distinct profile in a number of

different ways.

Using printed details, you can add that little extra

touch to your product. An elegant and professional

graphic design helps your product convey precisely

what you want and to catch the eye of a

presumptive customer.

We use several different methods:

IML or In-Mould-Labelling is a method for labelling

your products while they are being manufactured.

Pad printing is a method in which a rubber pad

picks the dye from a block and prints the image on,

for example, a cap. We can print a logo on caps in

many different colors.

Labelling is yet another option of using printing

to present your message. We have several labelling

machines and are happy to help you applying labels.

Another alternative is to use embossing or debossing

in the mold.

Profiliering

Förutom att ge din produkt eget utseende genom

färg och form så kan vi ytterligare hjälpa dig att

profilera din produkt på flera olika sätt.

Genom tryckta detaljer kan du ge just din produkt

det lilla extra. En snygg och välgjord grafisk design gör

att din produkt får den utstrålning som ni vill att

den ska ha och fångar målgruppens uppmärksamhet.

Tekniker som jobbar med;

IML eller In-Mould-Labelling. Är en metod där dina

produkter blir försedda med en etikett samtidigt

som de produceras.

Tampongtryck. En tryckteknik där en gummikudde

hämtar färg från en kliché och sedan trycker avbild-

ningen på en kapsyl eller ett lock. Vi kan trycka på

kapsyler i flerfärgs tryck.

Etiketter är ytterligare ett alternativ. Vi har etikette-

ringsmaskiner och hjälper dig gärna med applicering

av etiketter.

Debossing eller embossing är ett alternativ där man

skapar en design i verktyget som resulterar i en för-

höjd eller nersänkt design.

Oblat

När du behöver en förslutning med särskilda egen-

skaper kan oblat i kapsylen i stället för en kona vara

ett alternativ. Vi har oblat i olika material och storlek

lämpliga för våra kapsyler 22–43 mm. Det finns ett

standardsortiment, men oblaten kan anpassas efter

dina behov. Exempelvis ventilerande oblat eller oblat

gjorda specifikt för att fungera med förpackningens

innehåll.

Till exempel dryck, kryddor eller kemikalier.

En oblat kan vara allt från en enkel skumskiva till en

kombination av flera olika material. Det finns oblat

som svetsas fast för att ge extra skydd mot fukt och

syre samtidigt som det säkerställer för slutanvända-

ren att produkten inte varit öppnad.

Vi köper våra oblater från Europas främsta leveran-

törer och garanterar bästa lösningen baserad på dina

önskemål kring volym, kvalitet, pris och funktion.

Liners

When you need a closure with specific characteristic,

a cap with a liner instead of a cone could be an alter-

native. We have liners in various materials and sizes

suitable for our closures 22–43 mm. There is a standard

selection, but the liners can be cutomised to meet your

needs. For instance ventilating liners or liners made spe-

cifically to fit the content of your packaging. E.g. bevera-

ges, spices or chemicals.

A liner could be everything from a simple foam disc to

a combination of several different materials. There are

liners which are welded to give extra protection from

moisture and oxygen, and at the same time insures the

final user the product has not been opened.

We buy our liners from the top suppliers in Europé and

guarantee the best solution based on your wishes when

it come sto volume, quality, price and functionality.
