It leads to a professional qualification in the field of HRM. * HKIHRM is the most representative human resource management professional body in Hong Kong. Established in 1977, the Institute has a membership close to 5,300, of whom about 600 are corporate members. Eligible applicants may be reimbursed 80% of the course fee (for the 1st HK$10,000 subsidy) and 60% of the course fee (for the 2nd HK$10,000 subsidy), subject to a maximum sum of HK$20,000, on successful completion of a reimbursable course which classes commence on or after 1 April 2019.

Class LecturerMr. John LaiOver 30 years working experience in HRM, Mr. John Lai leads the team to provide consultancy and training services to companies in Hong Kong and China. Earlier in his career, John assumed both strategic and operational role in HR and Learning & Development function in Asia Paci�c o�ce with sizeable multinational corporations. John’s background has been in public transport, logistics and travel, semiconductor and capital equipment industry.

Medium of InstructionEnglish supplemented with Cantonese. Course materials and assessments are in English.

ClassesThursday evening (7:00pm - 10:00pm). One class per week.

VenueCityU SCOPE Learning Centre in Kowloon Tong (CityU Campus) or Tsim Sha Tsui East (ChinaChem Golden Plaza).

Assessment and AwardAssessment will be based on projects (25%), written assignment (25%) and examination (50%). Professional Certi�cate will be issued to those participants who passed all the assessments.

Graduates are eligible to become HKIHRM Associate Members after passing the Associate Member Assessment.
