Taste Myanmar Food & Tea!
Now at the ICC we have created an event focusing on the mysterious culture of
Myanmar!
There will be a presentation from the Embassy of Myanmar introducing the history
and culture of the country, as well as presentations by Waseda students from
Myanmar about daily life and student life there. Then there will also be a special
performance of traditional Myanma dance!
Alongside that there will be a display of Myanmar‘s ethnic clothing the “Longyi”
as well as an introduction of the traditional cosmetic “Thanaka”. During the
mixing time at the end, you will have the chance to try some Myanma food like tea
leaf salad and Myanma black sugar, as well as drink Myanma tea.
