Dear Colleagues,It is a great pleasure to invite you to the 9th congress of the National Hepatology & Tropical Medicine Research Institute (NHTMRI), the institute was founded in 1932 ,and its spectrum of services gradually evolved to meet the needs of the society , now it is the corner stone in the field of hepatology , gastroenterology , hepatobiliary surgery and liver transplantation.

The congress is held yearly in the last quarter when Cairo enjoys a most splendid weather.

This year the congress venue will be Grand Nile Tower Hotel in Cairo , the organizing committee elected the premises of this stylish hotel seeing the great Nile to accommodate an expected large numbers of speakers , audience and exhibitors seeking the updated knowledge in the field of hepatology and gastroenterology "NHTMRI Pearls" inspired by different types of audiences to share their own experiences with others.Multiple sessions covering all the topics will be held together with precongress workshop that will present different hand skills and innovative work in NHTMRIYou are all most welcome to join this event that we hope will be most fruitful and interesting.

Conference informations:

Conference venue Workshop: Main conference hall, national hepatology & tropical medicine research institute (NHTMRI), 10 kasr al aini street, Cairo, Egypt Congress sessions: grand Nile tower hotel, Corniche El Nil, Garden City, Cairo, Egypt.

Arriving by plane Cairo international airport is the nearest airport to the conference venue, the distance between the airport and the congress hotel is about 25 km (nearly 35 minutes with average traffic). The Cairo Cab or London cab is available outside all the airport terminals.

Visa policy of Egypt You are asked the website of the ministry of foreign affairs to know the regulations of obtaining entry visa to Egypt.www.mfa.gov.eg/English/

Nearby metro stations: Al-Sayeda Zainab metro station is the nearest station to both the institute and the hotel; the distance between the station and institute is about 600 meters (10 minutes walking) and to the hotel is about 1 km (15 minutes walking); also; both of them could also be reached by all means of public transportation and taxi.

WI-FI internet connectionThe Wi-Fi connection will be available throughout the congress venue. To avoid internet speed affection, kindly use the WI-FI connection for the congress purposes only as downloading and using NHTMRI mobile application.

Speakers ready room 2 speakers ready rooms are available within the congress venue (please refer to the map to know their locations). The rooms are prepared with computer devices to help the speakers in revision, updating, uploading their presentation to the speakers mono-system, you will find technical specialists if you need any help .

Presentation preparation:All speakers are requested to prepare their presentation as power point presentation (.ppt,.pptx) , please save your presentation on USB memory , we could not connect your laptops to the audio-visual system.After uploading your presentation in the speakers ready rooms, you need to scan your badge on the podium of the hall to view and start your presentation.

EpostersAll the eposters winners are asked to download NHTMRI application from google or apple stores, all eposter presenters should be present near to the eposters screens in the exhibition zone to discuss their posters with the eposters visitors.
