History Of Rome

Rome was the sole political capital for the Roman Empire until AD 286.

The Empire was ruled by a Roman Emperor.

The City where my dad lived became a Roman Capitol. The name of the city now is Lincoln but the Romans called it Lindum Colonial.

Climate

In northern Italy, temperatures can reach below the freezing during the winters, with snow in the northern most areas. Southern Italy has a warmer, more moderate climate.

VOLCANOES OF ITALY WHY DO MANY PEOPLE LIVE CLOSE TO A VOLCANOES

Magna rising from deep inside the earth contains a range of minerals. As the rock cools, minerals are precipitated out. This means that minerals such as tin, silver, gold, copper and even diamonds can be found in volcanic rocks.

Most of the metallic minerals mined around the world, particularly copper, gold, silver, lead and zinc are found deep below extinct volcanoes. This makes the areas ideal for mining.

Active and dormant volcanoes have the same mineralisation, so like extinct volcanoes, they are rich sources of minerals. Hot gasses escaping through vents also bring minerals to the surface, notably sulphur, which collects around the vents as it condenses and solidifies. Locals collect the sulphur and sell it.

VOLCANOES OF ITALY WHERE VOLCANOES ARE Mount Vesuvius Pompeii was an ancient Roman

city, buried by a volcanic eruption of Vesuvius. 2000 years later, archaeologists uncovered the city.  The people in ancient Pompeii did not have a chance to escape. The city had been quickly buried by volcanic ash. 

When archaeologists dug out the city, two thousand years later, they found petrified bread still in the ovens that had been baking that day. Archaeologists learned a great deal from the ruins of this ancient city because it had been so well preserved.

FARMING Driving through the rolling Italian

countryside on a mid-summer's day, you will see hillsides, with rows of grapevines, topped  wine estates.

Many areas of Italy also grow grapes. Italy is one of the largest wine producers in the world.

Northern Italy's Po Valley provides good farm land for rice, wheat and other grains. Southern Italy grows fruits, olives and tomatoes.

Galileo:Galileo Galilei was an Italian astronomer, astrologer, physicist, and philospher closely associeted with the scientific revolution. He was born February 15, 1564 and died January 8, 1642. He improves the telescope, observed various aspects of astronomy, developed the first and second laws of motion, and found proof to support Copernicanism. The conflict Galileo experienced with the Roman Catholic Church is seen as an example of the freedom of though conflict.

3. I think that the Irish and the Italians are both known for being passionate;

Differences 1. Ireland is known for having a cloudy, cold

and rainy climate, while everyone thinks that it's always hot and sunny in Italy;

2. Irish is a Celtic language, while Italian derives from Latin;

3. 60 million people live in Italy, while just 4 million people live in Ireland;.
