What is a set top box?

• A set top box or known as STB is a device containing a tuner in it which captures an external source of signal and throws to television set for a great quality picture. Set top box is necessary to continue receiving the signals in the digital format.

Smart Galaxy Box

• We Have introduced WiFi-enabled GALAXY+HD personal video recorder (PVR) set-top boxes for wireless internet connectivity to its on-demand and catch-up TV services.

• "This connector will allow them to easily connect their set-top box to their WiFi network, giving them instant access to hours of additional entertainment."

Connectivity

• Think about the number of devices you had connected to your home Internet network five years ago: a home computer, maybe a couple of laptops. A high-speed modem and one Wi-Fi router could provide you with sufficient bandwidth.

• Now, think about how many more connected devices you have today: desktop and laptop computers, smart TVs and media players, smartphones, Smartwatches, tablets, wireless music systems…

Page 9: Project on New Product

• You want to place connected devices in any room, not design your set-up around the location of the modem or where the Wi-Fi signal is strongest. Scattering Wi-Fi signal repeaters around the house cannot adequately solve the problems of buffering video and dead zones.

• However, the solution may already exist, hidden behind the walls. The same coaxial cables used to receive cable or satellite television service can also deliver high-speed, lag-free Internet to all of your connected devices, while saving you and your television service provider money.

Taking advantage of existing coaxial cabling

• Turning the existing network of coaxial cables into an Internet network with multiple Ethernet ports and Wi-Fi access points solves that problem. You can place your smart TVs and other connected devices anywhere you want, free from being tied to the modem or searching for areas of the house with stronger Wi-Fi.

• Another advantage of delivering television and Internet via coax cable is the hastening of the demise of that one piece of decades-old technology that still clutters the home entertainment landscape: the ugly set-top box.

Key Features:

• Dramatically improved range and coverage : 5G WiFi delivers high-capacity, advanced error-correction and interoperable beam-forming technology to significantly improve wireless coverage and eliminate dead spots in a subscriber's home, reducing the instances of costly support calls or truck rolls.

• Small footprint: Integrates both the STB and wireless chips in an ultra-small form factor design. Also includes optimized internal antenna design within a compact case that can be mounted horizontally or vertically.

• Easy to install : Small form factor and wireless capability allow for simple setup and placement anywhere in the home enabling easy customer install.

• High performance
