Student workshop by RTU: ” Management of wastewater through theatre”

The course on wastewater treatment and sewage systems is addressing not only the developing skills in wastewater treatment technologies, but also provides preparation of professionals, that can communicate with institutions involved in water and wastewater sector.

A modification in the existing teaching

method was made to increase practical

understanding, skills and knowledge in the

field of wastewater management through

the communication with professional

mentors and representatives from

relevant industries. Training Methodology was presented in the 5th International

WP1Communication

Page 33: Project proceedings

34

Communication workshop• Aim: Plan national dissemination of BEST results• Division into country-wise groups

– What have you done?– What kind of results do you want to share?– To whom will you share them? Identify the most important

stakeholders– How and when will you share them?

• Each partner commits to realize at least one disseminationmeasure according to an agreed schedule

• Each group presents the chosen measures, responsibilities and timetables

Page 34: Project proceedings

35

Instructions• In country-wise groups discuss how you can disseminate the main

BEST results in your country, each organization, pick at least one! – WP2 report, current legislation, regulation and treatment of industrial waste

waters in municipal WWTPs.– WP3, learning package and training concept– WP4, investments and local co-operation models– WP5, new guidelines for industrial WW treatment

• For each chosen WP output/ issue: – Who are the main stakeholders to be reached?– What is the most efficient way to tell about these results? (Through vocational

associations, blogs, press releases, seminars, videos, leaflets, social media campaigns…)

– Divide responsibilities and make timetable!

Page 35: Project proceedings

36

Make notes• WP 2, 3, 4, 5 separately

– Most important stakeholders to be reached?

– How you are going to reach them?

– Who is responsible for each task?

– What is the timetable?

• Make two copies, one in your own language and one in English. The English one should be in ppt and shared to Kajsa during Wednesday at the latest.
