روزهای بسیاری است که وقتی برای کاری در شهر می پلکم نگاهم به کوچه پس کوچه هاست؛ نه کودکی همراه مادرش برای هواخوری از خانه بیرون زده نه انبوه کودکانی که پارک ها و پیاده روهای شهر را روی سرشان بگذارند.

روزهای بسیاری است که نیمی از صورتم را از مردمان شهرم پنهان می کنم؛ انگار ما پرستاران شهری از کنارم بگذرد و نشناسدم، گاهی نگرانم آشنایی

هستیم که بیمارانش در خیابان ها سرگردانند.

در تا کودکان رویای با هستم تقویمی فکر به که است بسیاری روزهای بازی، فقط کنند: شنبه به شیوه ی خودشان محدود را ما بتوانند صفحاتش

یک شنبه بدو-بدو، دوشنبه تاب بازی، سه شنبه بپر-بپر...

با این حال شهر و آلودگی هایش را نمی توان از هم مجزا دید، همیشه و هر جا کمتر یا بیشتر در کنار هم اند. منوکسید تهران مجموعه آثاری است از ۳8 هنرمند اهل تهران که ناظر و نگران وضعیت سالمت کودکان شان اند و برای در میان گذاشتنش با دیگران آثارشان را در مدرسه ی خرد به نمایش خواهند

گذاشت تا از یک فضای آموزشی به فضایی هنری و تأثیرگذار برسند.

It’s been quite a while since I strolled in the city for an

errand, I keep looking at small lanes and alleyways and

see no child who has come for fresh air with her/his

mom, and no crowd of children who make a jamboree

in the parks and sidewalks.

It’s been quite a while since I hid half of my face fearing

that a familiar face passes by me but wouldn’t recog-

nize me. we think we are like nurses in a city in which

the sick are idol in its streets.

It’s been quite a while since I’m thinking of a calendar filled

with children’s dreams, dreams by which children can limit

us in their own way: Monday just playing games, Tuesday

just running around, Wednesday swinging, Thursday

hopping...

Nonetheless, the city and its pollution are inseparable;

they go hand in hand everywhere and all the time. “Teh-

ran Monoxide” is a collection of 38 works by artists

from Tehran who are also witness to the pollution and

are very much fretful about their children’s health

therefore are sharing their concern by contributing

their artworks in an educational center so that they

can attain an impressive artistic atmosphere in an

educational and child-related setting.

If we had the chance to de-acquaint each single day

of our lives, we might be able to look at existence

with amazement as if it’s the first time. And everyday,

grime dancing in the rays of sun would remind us of

our childhood colorful imaginations and keep our

dreams alive. Then we might recall that we used to

be a part of this existence along with the mountains,

the waters, the animals, the plants and planets, and

we had our limited yet worthy share of this coexis-

tence and so it was pleasant.

Now we try harder and harder to have more, and we

do have a lot. We have gained a vast detachment

from our past and we are content that the labyrinth

of our brain has moved us forward. Still, when we

rest our heads at nights, our hearts are so filled with

regret and neglection that our soft pillows turn to

stones.

In this age when we fear invasion of privacy so much

that we close the doors to ourselves and suffer loneliness

behind the same doors, when we open the windows to

taste the sweetness of fresh air, but the stale air outside

kills our appetite, and through the smog our eyes are

blinded from looking into our neighbors’ eyes and

our lives are burnt away, closing our eyes to moments

exceptionally provided for better observation sounds

both strange and impossible.

There are a thousand eyes gazing at the future here

and a thousand steps are taken daily determined to

make the future a better one. This place is called

“manzoomeh e kherad” and education is the most

important goal in this institute. Thus, many activities

have been planned in “kherad” schools for children

and young adults of different ages - from pre-school

stage to pre-university level. Educational workshops

are also held for parents and adults. Departments

of research and consultancy, publishing, sports, and

kherad house of art are of various parts of this institute.

Kherad house of art aims at developing public culture

and professional education of the learners.

“Tehran monoxide” project is an opportunity to offer

reflection of a new life and stir up emotions so that

learning takes place consequently. This project is car-

ried out by the mutual aid of a number of great artists

and kherad house of art affiliates whose common con-

cern is planning a better life for the next generation.

I hereby thank my dear friend and artist negar farajiani

for creating this project and gathering us round, and i

truly appreciate her determination and untiring effort.

اگر هر روز فرصت آن را داشته باشیم که از زندگی روزمره ی خود آشنایی زدایی کنیم، آن وقت هر روز با شگفتی به هستی خود نگاه می کنیم؟! و هر روز رقص ذرات غبار در میان شعاع آفتاب تصاویر دنیای خیال انگیز کودکی را برایمان زنده نگه می دارد؟! و به یاد می آوریم که ما هم جزیی بودیم در کنار کوه ها، آب ها، جانوران، گیاهان و دیگر کرات که سهمی درخور ولی محدود از این دنیای بی کران نصیب مان بود و خوش بود

آن هم زیستی؟!

حاال هر روز تالش می کنیم برای بیشتر داشتن و چیزهای زیادی هم به دست می آوریم. در زمانی کوتاه فاصله ای زیاد از گذشته ی خود پیدا کرده ایم و خوشحالیم که این پیچ های مغزمان این چنین شگفتی آور ما را به پیش می برد. با این همه اما شب بالش پَرمان تا صبح از غصه ی حسرت و دلتنگی هایمان سنگ می شود. در این زمانه که از وحشت مخدوش شدن تنهایی مان در را به روی خود قفل می کنیم و در پشت آن از رنج تنهایی در عذابیم، در این زمانه که پنجره را باز می کنیم تا هوایی بچشیم اما ذائقه مان از طعم بی هوایی کور می شود و چشمانمان از پس آلودگی ها، بی تماسی با چشمان همسایه ی روبرو می سوزد و عمر دود می شود، چشم پوشی از لحظاتی که ناگهان برایمان فراهم

می شود تا بهتر ببینیم عجیب و محال می نماید.

این جا هر روز هزار چشم گذر می کند که نگاهش به دوردستهاست و هزاران گام پیش

می رود که مصمم است برای ساختن. مؤسسه ی منظومه خرد است که یادگیری در آن مسئله ی اصلی است. از همین رو فعالیت های زیادی برای سنین مختلف در این مؤسسه شکل گرفته است. کودکان از سنین پیش دبستانی تا مرحله ی ورود به دانشگاه در مدارس خرد آموزش می بینند. کارگاه های آموزشی برای بزرگساالن برگزار می شود. بخش تحقیق و مشاوره، انتشارات، مجموعه ی ورزشی و خانه ی هنر خرد از دیگر قسمت های

این مؤسسه است.

خانه ی هنر خرد با دو هدف توسعه ی فرهنگ عمومی و تربیت حرفه ای هنرجویان، به شناساندن و آموزش هنر می پردازد.

پروژه ی »مونوکسید تهران« فرصتی است که در گذر از میان راه های پر پیچ و خمش اندیشه جان گیرد و به عواطف تلنگری بخورد و یادگیری رخ دهد. این پروژه همکاری بین جمع بزرگی از هنرمندان و خانه ی هنر خرد است که بهتر زیستن نسل آینده برایشان

دغدغه ی مشترکی است.

ازهنرمند عزیز، نگار فرجیانی متشکرم که ایده ی این کار را تولید کرد، همه را دور هم جمع کرد و آن را شکل داد و امیدوار و خستگی ناپذیر پروژه را پیش برد.

یک. در تهران برای انجام هر کاری باید بدانیم آن کار »تهرانیزه« می شود.

وقتی در اتوبان »حکیم« از غرب به شرق در حال تردد هستید ]دقیقًا مکانش کمال و تمام طور به را میالد برج قامت که جایی از اما نیست[، خاطرم می بینید ناگهان پس از عبور از یک سر باالیی، افق و امتداد اتوبان و حجم ترافیک در برابرتان تا کیلومتری پدیدار می شود! آنجاست که بالفاصله خالص می شوید! خالص می کنید! فکر می کنید که تغییری در موسیقی پخش خودرو بدهید یا فکری به برنامه های امروزتان بکنید! یا پیامک های تبلیغاتی تلفن همراه تان را پاک کنید، از این دست کارهای کوچک که در طول روز با این

شتاب زدگی در جریان امور روزمره کمتر برای آن وقت دارید.

دو. شهروند-هنرمند، هنرمند-شهروند

برنامه در تعریف روشن بود.

باید از هنرمندانی که در پروژه ای به نام »منوکسید تهران« شرکت کرده اند با فرزندان شان مجموعه ای عکس تهیه گردد تا در کتابی به این نام چاپ شود.

»سالم، برنامه ی امروز: خانِم )...( و آقای )...( خیاباِن )...( کوچه ی )...( پالِک )...( ساعت پنج، قبل از رفتن منتظر تماس شما هستند. شب به خیر.«

هماهنگ کردن، هماهنگ شدن، هماهنگ بودن!

باید مدام به این فکر می کردم که زمان مهم است. اما مهم تر این که چه طور و از کجا؟

خانه همیشه به بهترین شکل، بیان گر عنواِن زندگی و دیِد هر انسان و نهایت اختیار و انتخاب هر شخص در زندگی خصوصی اش است. با تأکید بر این که فضای زندگی هنرمندان عمومًا از لحاظ بصری از فضای زندگی عامه ی مردم بیان برای اگر نگاه این نبود! نظر مورد وجه این واقع به اما است، متمایز روحیات شخصی و دیدگاه او قرار می گرفت جذابیت خاص خود را داشت. اما چهره ی هر فرد در فضای خصوصی با حضور در فضای خارجی و راحتی و امنیت او متفاوت است! در خانه وقتی فرزندی حضور دارد و این طرف و آن طرف می رود والدین می توانند راحت بنشینند و این آزادی را نظاره کنند، اما

در خارج از خانه این طور نیست! نگرانی به صورت غریزی وجه غالب خواهد دو از میانه ای می تواند که دارد قرار دو این بین مرز در فضاهایی اما بود. قسمت باشد؛ قسمت هایی از خانه ها مانند حیاط، پارکینگ، راه پله وپشت بام... قسمت ها بعضی در یا بیرون محیط با شهری بافت در مشترک فضاهایی منطقه ای از خانه اما متفاوت با فضای داخلی در اتمسفر شهری. پس از روشن بینی وجود داشت؛ وجود قابل پیش نکته ای غیر بعد شدن مکان ها در گام

فضای حداقلی مطلوِب عکاسی و قرار گرفتن سوژه ها در آن موقعیت ها.

همه چیز قبل از دیدار آن »یک ساعت« غیر قابل پیش بینی می نمود، اما کنجکاوی خود را تا حضور در آن جا به همراه داشت از این لحاظ که تنها یک راه وجود دارد! »هرچه بادا باد.« ماحصل در مدت زمانی کمتر از یک ساعت که برای هر خانه می شد گذاشت رسیدن به کشف این نقاط و زوایا بود و با راهنمایی میزبان به حداقل ها بسنده کردن. و پس از اتمام کار، نتیجه، تنوعی با کلیشه های مشترک در بافت شهری این محیط ها و در بعضی موارد نادر در

خانه هایی متفاوت ثبت گردید.

پشت گاهی و الزم! نور پارکینگی وگاهی نداشت پارکینگ خانه ای گاهی بام و حیاط منازل بهترین محیط بود با نور تند ظهر. لحظاتی بود که اصاًل کودکان تاب این هر دو را نداشتند و مواقعی مشتاق این لحظات بودند! و حتی گاه پیش می آمد پدر و مادرها ناخودآگاه در همان لحظه دوست داشتند که با فرزندشان عکسی صمیمی و یادگاری بگیرند، که این روحیه ی شیرین دیگر ارتباطی به دغدغه ی هنرمندی نداشت، نهایِت لطف و مهر والدین به فرزند برای سوژه شدن بی پیش فرضی بود که در همه ی روزمرگی ها و دغدغه ها

قابلیت ظهور و ثبت توأمان داشت.

در نهایت امر، مجموعه ای راوی و حاوی کادرهایی از شهروند-هنرمندانی که در نزدیک ترین فضای خارجی محیط خانه شان قرار گرفتند، جمع آوری و ثبت

گردید. روایتی »تهرانیزه« از هنرمند-شهروندان با فرزندان شان.

One- when doing something in Tehran, you need to

know that the thing would turn out to be Tehranized.

When you’re heading east on Hakim Highway, I don’t

remember where exactly, but somewhere you can

have a clear view of Milad Tower, where the highway

starts going downhill, the never ending tailback in

front of you is the last thing you need! That’s when

you put your car and yourself in neutral gear! Then

you think of changing the music track, or re-planning

your day’s schedule, or erasing the text message adver-

tisements on your cell phone! The sort of things you

don’t find the time for in your routine hectic life.

Two- citizen-artists, artist-citizens

The project was only easy to plan of course!

A photo collection of the artists who participated in a

project called “Tehran Monoxide” and their children

was supposed to be prepared to be published in a book

with the same title.

“Hi. For todays program, you will meet Ms. (...), and

Mr. (...), (...) Street, (...) alley, house no. (...) at five o’

clock. Call before leaving. Goodnight.

Arrangements, arranging, being arranged!

All I could think about was that timing was

important, but more important than that how

and where from?

A home is always the best presentation of the own-

ers’ taste, choice, life style and decision. Although

it’s believed that the atmosphere of an artist’s home

is somewhat different from the general public, this

trait wasn’t the main focus! If this quality was taken

into account to present the artist’s view point and

personal characteristics, it would’ve had its own appeal

as person’s face when comfortable in his own privacy is

different from outside! When there’s a child at home

who walks around freely, parents can lay back and

enjoy this freedom, but it’s not the same outside!

Concern would be above all due to instinct... But

there are places in between that can take the middle

ground, places like the yard, the parking, the stairways

and the roof; Places where can also be found in the

outdoors in the city or in some cases structures which

don’t exactly match with the indoors.

After determining the location, there were some uncer-

tainties in the next step, the existence of a favourable

location for shooting and putting the subjects in the

location.

Everything seemed unexpected before that “one-hour

meeting”! But curiosity was my company until I got

there, and there was only one solution: Come what

may! The result was looking for the favourable loca-

tion in an hour timing that we had for each house, and

had to settle with what we could find with the help

of the host. And after the work was done, the result

gave a kind of variety to the cliché of the urban theme

and rarely to the angles of houses. Some houses didn’t

have a parking and some parking didn’t have the

essential light! Sometimes the parking or the roof

was the ideal location with midday sunlight. There

were times that children were impatient with both! And

sometimes parents wished to have a friendly memorial

photo with their children, and this desire had nothing

to do with artistic concerns, it was the parental love for

the children that was captured; far away from work unease

or posing for the camera.

Eventually, a collection of frames that held the

resident-artists who were gathered, shot at the

nearest open area to their homes, a “tehranized”

narration of artist-residents with their children.
