the Statute. This Journal is being published on weekly basis on every Friday covering the various proceedings
on Patents as required according to the provision of Section 145 of the Patents Act 1970. All the enquiries on
this Official Journal and other information as required by the public should be addressed to the Controller
General of Patents, Designs & Trade Marks. Suggestions and comments are requested from all quarters so that
the content can be enriched.

Section 2 has been discontinued and instead The Official Journal of the Patent Office is being published
containing all the activities of The Patent Office such as publication of all the patent applications after 18th
months , grant of patents & all other information in respect of the proceedings as required under the provisions
of the Patents (Amendment) Act, 2005 and Rules thereunder on weekly basis on every Friday.
The Journal is uploaded in the website every Friday. So Paper form and CD-ROM form of the Journal are
discontinued from 01/01/2009.

Every effort is being taken to publish all the patent applications under section 11(A) of the Patents Act.
However, if duplication of publication of any application is found, then earlier date of publication will be taken

controlling particle collection by this device including the steps of: mounting the vibrating chamber on the chamber holder; supplying
open channel/s with a liquid-particle suspension; vibrating open channel/s at predefined frequency(ies) and amplitude/s; focusing the
larger particles, underneath a capillary wave node; sorting the particles by dragging away the smaller particles from the collection
locations into the bulk of the multi-particle liquid-particle suspension by means of the streaming field; and extracting larger particles
from the central outlet and smaller particles from the side outlets.

A system of generating mechanical energy and a method thereof, mostly attributed by gravitational force is provided. A driver
assembly functions by means of an external energy source, providing an elliptical like motion to an endless loop of roller chain
revolving in vertical directions. The loop of chain, having a substantial length and specific weight is counterbalanced on the centrally
installed driver assembly while remaining connected in a motional relation with other rotatable assemblies located at a relatively lower
position, thereby conserving its potential-kinetic energy levels while in a state of motion. The weight of the falling side of the chain
within the revolving loop of chain exerts gravitational force on a driven assembly, thereby converting gravitational energy into
mechanical energy, free from discharging flue gasses or residual pollutants. This mechanical energy can be harnessed to drive other
devises like an AC generator, pumps, etc.

(57) Abstract :
1. The present invention relates to a device to control the fraudulent usage of water and seepage of contamination into main stream
which can be attached to pipelines supplying water which curbs the unethical suction of water by users using pressure pumps, by
obstructing the free flow of water and allowing only pre-determined quantity of water to flow out through the device. It has a
constrictor which floats in the inter flow path of the water and rises with the increase in the upstream pressure. When this pressure
exceeds the permissible limit due to external pressure applied by users, the constrictor blocks the flow of water and allows only
limited water to flow through the grooves in it thereby supplying pre-determined quantity of water. If high capacity external press is
applies the baby constrictor present in the constrictor rises and block the outlet of the constrictor such that the flow of water from the
constrictor and the device is completely stopped. The device also acts as a non return valve which prevents the contamination of water
supply through external sources. The device is also provided with a fine mesh attached to the neck of the inlet which helps in filtering
the water entering the device and prevents the entry of fine particles which may affect the functioning of the device.

Title.: Combo Compass Instrument For Surveying The present invention provides a combo compass instrument that comprises a
whole circle bearing scale ring and a reduced bearing scale ring that are respectively concentrically positioned within a case. The
combo compass includes a magnetic needle and a pointer that are pivotally fixed at the centre of the case. The pointer is attached to
the magnetic needle at a predefined angle along North side thereof. A counterweight is attached along South side thereof in order to
avoid the dip of the needle. The whole circle bearing scale ring and the reduced bearing scale ring respectively include a scale that
graduates in a predefined direction thereby respectively having a predefined angular range configured thereon. The reduced bearing
scale ring and the whole circle bearing scale ring facilitate automatic conversion of values of whole circle bearing into reduced bearing

(57) Abstract :
Proper and regular watering of the urinals is very essential and important. Most of the time and especially in case of public urinals,
this aspect is neglected which result in scale formation, foul smell and poor health and hygiene conditions. The present invention
proposes a system in which watering would be done automatically when anyone uses the urinal. When any person stands in the urinal,
his weight acts on the base plate as a result the shaft is pressed downward, which opens the valve and the water flows into the urinal.
When the person steps down, the shaft automatically returns back to the normal position by the spring action which closes the valve
and the flow of water stops. Thus the operation of the valve is controlled by the weight of the person and hence it does not require
electricity or any electronic circuit. Following invention is described in detail with the help of Figure 11 of sheet 6 showing the final
front view of the automatic watering of the urinal.

ABSTRACT This invention provides a fabric take up mechanism which, apart from addressing basic needs of fabric take-up
mechanism, additionally also automatically compensates for number of picks through which the machine or dobby is moved back in
an event of pick finding. Pick finding is normally done for around only a few picks for continuity of warp design in an event of weft
break or warp break. As the fell of the cloth is automatically adjusted it becomes possible to avoiding manual errors which generate
fabric defects called start mark. It is also possible with the mechanism that the warp is prevented from free backward drag when pick
wheels are changed during the course of the fabric production, and it will not leave any mark on the cloth, yet the part count is kept to
a minimum which makes the overall system very easy to maintain.

Credit card fraudsters use variety of modus operandi to commit fraud. The various type of credit card frauds that hamper the
reputation of online transactions are: misusing stolen or lost card, counterfeit card (i.e., card copying) and Card-Not-Present (CNP)
fraud (i.e., using credit card to make online purchases on an e-commerce site). The several corrective measures were taken by banking
industry, and there is reduction in the credit card transaction frauds; where you need to be present with your cards, but still card-not-
present type i.e. online e-commerce payment transactions are vulnerable for frauds. This invention presents the architectural model for
building CNP fraud proof credit card for online e-commerce transactions. In this invention we described the architectural model for
building secure credit card for online transactions. This type of card is a regular credit card dimension implanted with USB flash drive
with encrypted unique authentication code, which can be validated by authentication server. The present invention provides an
effective method to authenticate Card-Not-Present type of online transactions, thereby reducing the opportunity for credit card fraud.
Multilayer security such as IRIS and finger scan of the customer will be stored in USB flash and authorization server. At the time of
payment transaction with USB flash credit card, customer must be physically present to scan his/her iris and finger print scan with iris
scan through web camera and finger scanner of laptop and, which is stored in USB flash and database server. Create, update, and
delete operation cannot be performed on this USB flash and data can be internally accessed for the pattern matching, which is not
visually seen by any customer except authorized administrator of the bank.

(57) Abstract :
A cleaning powder for use on fruits and vegetables that removes, surface contaminants, wax and pesticides with anti-bacterial
properties for increasing shelf life. The extensive use of pesticides and fertilizers on fruits and vegetables leaves harmful residues on
them which are a serious cause of concern. The contamination continues in the logistics chain from farm to kitchen adding dirt, grime,
wax, bacteria and pollutants to the produce. Washing with plain water cannot remove pesticides, wax, contaminants and bacteria from
the produce. This invention provides a concentrated cleaning powder containing organic acids, sodium chloride, sodium percarbonate
and salt of carbonic acid. The resultant combination makes a concentrated cleaning powder that can be diluted 10 grams in 1 litre of
water to soak fruits and vegetables. The powder releases carbon dioxide bubbles and has alkalizing properties that removes dirt, wax,
pesticides and contaminants from the produce. It also releases H2O2 that acts as anti-bacterial agent and kills the bacteria and aids in
increasing the shelf life of the produce.

system as per the requirement. It has a provision of safety valve which can be opened in case of accidental pressure build up or
accidental fire breakdown due to any external reasons. It has octagonal fermenter tank, gas holder tank and sludge pits with a pressure

ingredients being completely dissolved and water soluble, the solution does not block or clog the Spraying equipments. The
concentrate can be dissolved in water and applied to vegetable, fruit and field crops to provide them N-P-K along with microelements

Solid free-flowing powdered drilling fluid additives compositions having desirable emulsifying, wetting and other performance
characteristics are described. Their method of preparation and their use in oil-based drilling fluid compositions are described. The
manufacturing process comprises of contacting(spraying or mixing) different types of liquid invert emulsion additives individually at
elevated temperature with a blend of inert fillers in specific proportions and of particular particle size in a blender for a specified time.
The solid powdered additives thus obtained are controlled pulverized to obtain the final particle size which does not alter the
performance of each individual additive. The solid invert emulsion additives obtained are added to drilling fluid compositions yielding
drilling muds with improved performance. Solid powdered additives compositions greatly reduce transportation costs and simplify the
logistics and environmental concerns associated with shipping large volumes of solvent-containing liquids and overcome the pour
point issues associated with liquid additives.

The present invention Piston integrated circumferential spark ignition PICSI technology works on the phenomenon of electric
discharge, whereas the central electrode used is circular ring henceforth called as PICSI electrode seated on the piston head. Herein a
